Edgar Allan Pale Ale: This pale ale has a toasted complexity that is poetically balanced by a lifetime of bitterness. A dark character, enjoyable forevermore. Artwork by Jason Williams

Recently our local restaurant and bar, Mingles Bar and Grill, was sold to a new owner. All of the employees were fired, and everything changed. The new location was only open a month before being burglerized, and closed shortly after. The restaurant is now for sale, and we've decided to buy it. We hope to bring the bar and grill back to its former glory under a new name, Right Brain PhilanthroPub, centered around charitable practices. We're here to ask your for your help. Your contributions will go as a down-payment on the building and restaurant and help bring it back to the community. The owner has generously agreed to finance Right Brain Entertainment for the remaining total. All other funds raised above our goal will go to replacing stolen equipment and purchasing brewing equipment for the seven barrel brewhouse.

Good Parents, Everyone!
These fan-drawn Futurama images would be cool enough on their own, but they reach a whole other level of amazing when you realize they’re drawn on napkins.
Every single day, artist Kevin Kirby and his spouse hand-draw different custom illustrations on napkins for their sons’ lunches. They feature everything from Calvin and Hobbes to Star Wars, but one of the most frequent subjects is the Planet Express crew.
If you’re looking at these and only thinking about how all that ink must make for some pretty ineffective napkins, congratulations, you’re going to be a really boring parent!
Be sure to follow Kevin’s Tumblr to keep up with the latest napkins.

FIRST NATIONAL MAKE-OUT SESSION ON CINCINNATI'S FOUNTAIN SQUARE TOMORROW
THE FIRST NATIONAL MAKE-OUT SESSION
THIS THURSDAY, MARCH 22ND
10 A.M. to 10 P.M.
FOUNTAIN SQUARE, CINCINNATI
Cincinnati bartender and Dayton, Ky. native Shawn Blagg has organized a National Make-Out Session to take place March 22 on Cincinnati’s Fountain Square. In backlash of commercialized love-based holidays like Valentine’s and Sweetest Days, March 22 is a day to show love through kisses instead of cash.
The First National Make-Out Session Facebook event, which Blagg created, currently lists over 300 guests as attending. There will be music all day, free speed dating and a giant Spin The Bottle. There will also be a kissing booth to raise money for Sheltered Paws Dog Rescue and GreaterGood.org, an organization helping with the local tornado relief efforts.
Although everyone across the country is encouraged to pucker up, downtown Cincinnati’s Fountain Square is the designated space for events. Several Right Brain Entertainers will be performing, including DJs Parallaxe and Nathan Knight and acoustic artist Emily Ogden. Also, an after party will be taking place at Luxe Bar, Lounge and Nightclub following the event.
