Interesting way the 5 Union Leaders sit in comparison to the Foretellers.

The first photo above the 5 Unions Leaders

Ephemer → Ventus → Skuld → Lauriam (absent) → Brain

Second photo of the Foretellers

Aced → Ira → Ava → Gula → Invi

Ephemer is sitting where Aced usually sits, while Skuld is occupying Ava's spot. Lauriam, who is absent, would normally sit in Gula's spot. Brain is now occupying the seat that was previously occupied by Invi, while Ventus has taken Ira's spot. This spot was originally meant for Strelitzia before she was brutally struck down by the darkness.

I will go on a whim, so please bear with me here.

After watching the scene several times, I realized that Luxu's foreshadowing serves as a warning to Sora about the dangers of misusing the power of waking. This is the only conclusion I could come to after analyzing the scene.

Sure, Luxu likely wasn't aware of Sora's fate, but he knew the consequences of misusing the power of waking.

Luxu and Luxord hinted at Sora's fate long before Young Xehanort mentioned it. Interestingly, Luxord was even aware of the dire consequences if someone misused the power of waking.

Luxu and Luxord actually dropped hints about Sora's fate well before Young Xehanort ever mentioned it. Surprisingly, Luxord even had knowledge of the severe repercussions that would arise if the power of waking was misused. Unfortunately, I haven't seen anyone discussing this crucial piece of information about Luxord.

This knowledge is only known to keyblade masters.

Luxu knew of this due to him being an Ancient Keyblade Master.

This can be left up to interpretation of what Luxu meant by hearts breaking.

This makes me want to see flashbacks of Ava training the new Union leaders, etc Dandelions.

Ava likely trained Ephemer off-screen.

It’s known that Ava sent Ephemer on missions to get stronger. We as the player saw Ephemer fight an Invisible heartless in front of us in a cut scene which we had to him.

Ephemer's the only one still standing after the battle with the Darkness, with nearly everyone except for him and Brain kinda are still standing.
