Bridgerton Season 3
So we potentially have a release date (again)! My fear from the beginning has been that it would be spilt into two parts and I hate that it seems like that’s what happening. I’m also kinda sad it’s a summer release since the show gives me such strong spring vibes. I am loving the emerald green and gold color scheme though! I’m wondering if that article that originally labeled one of the promotional photos as being from episode 10 was actually correct. I think having 10 episodes would make more sense if they’re splitting it into two, it would also give more space for the ensemble storylines/structure they love so much. If it’s just the usual 8 episodes, splitting it in half doesn’t make much sense.
My guess then is that the last episode in part one will be when Colin finds out or confronts Penelope about being Lady Whistledown, and that is the cliffhanger we’re left with until part two.

The Gilded Age: Marian and Larry Season 2 Theories
I figured I’d type up my theories/thoughts for what could happen for my favorite potential couple this season. A lot of this is influenced by what’s been shown in trailers and stated in reviews for the season.
Obviously both Marian and Larry will have other potential love interests this season. Larry will be hooking up with the widow talked about in episode one (which we’ve seen in the promos). It also seems like it’s going to be talked about in the scandal sheets and Bertha will not be a fan of any of it. One interview mentioned relationships plural when talking about Larry’s character. Marian seems like she will be pursued by the Agnes approved Dashiell Montgomery. Interviews have said that after everything that went down with Raikes last season, she may be more open to an advantageous match. Everything shown in the promos makes me think that Dashiell will end up proposing to her at some point this season. It looks like it’s at some outdoors event (maybe in Newport) in front of people, Agnes looks ecstatic and is smiling and clapping while Larry looks kinda jealous. My hope would be that she turns him down, but I feel it’s more likely that she’ll accept the proposal with everyone being so happy and there to witness it, hence Larry turning away. I think she’ll later end up breaking the engagement, realizing that she actually can’t marry for money/to advance her status and needs to marry for love (even if it leads to potential heartbreak again).
All the interviews talked about Marian and Larry strengthening their friendship this season. One mentioned that the show seems to be in no rush to get them together, so my hope of things turning romantic by the end of the season is sadly low. I do think we could see it potentially heading that way in the finale though, with Marian attending the opera with the Russels (based on one of the promo photos).
One interview mentioned that a bombshell is dropped on the Van Rijhn family in the final minutes of the finale. Maybe it’s seeing Marian with the Russels at the opera? I feel I’ve seen mentions of someone potentially losing money/fortunes, so maybe the Van Rijhn’s find out they’re broke in the final minutes. That could lead to them being forced to accept a potential Marian/Larry match in season 3 since it would provide financial standing again, plus all the added drama that a union of both those families would bring.

Nancy Drew Final Season Theory
Tumblr media
So since past lives/reincarnation is being hinted at, I’m going to say that Nancy and Ace are star crossed lovers in every one of them. Maybe she’s promised to Tristan (because older times 🙄), but always falls for and chooses Ace (even though it may not end happily for them in each of the past lives). The sins from the towns past could also potentially revolve around some choice made by past Nancy/Tristan/Ace that impacted everyone/changed everything and them making a different choice this time in the present determines the fate of Nancy and Ace’s star crossed love. Nace’s love is literally the light between (all of their past) lives.

Nancy Drew Season 4 (aka the final season 😭)
I was just wondering what everyone’s thoughts and theories for the final season are since it comes out next month? I’m posting the official synopsis in case anyone hasn’t seen it, or needs a refresher.
“Season 4 of Nancy Drew begins as Nancy launches a new investigation to find a group of missing bodies from Horseshoe Bay’s cemetery that have been dug up and stolen—or have possibly risen. As Nancy is drawn into this ghostly case, a string of unexplained paranormal crimes leads the Drew Crew to believe that the literal sins of the town’s past have returned to haunt the living. Meanwhile, Nancy struggles with yearning for Ace, the man she loves. But when a slow-burning attraction begins between Nancy and the son of Ryan Hudson’s newest enemy, Nancy must decide whether this love interest is worth the ire of both her father and Ace—whose own heart may also be tempted by a new relationship. Nancy’s exploits this season will bring the Drew Crew numerous standalone cases, stunning twists, humor, and unexpected romances as they are drawn into a season-long mystery unlike any they have had to solve before. When Nancy’s efforts to protect her seaside hometown from the sins of its past backfire, she must do the unthinkable to save her friends from both the supernatural and earthbound threats coming for them—and it could cost her everything, and everyone, she’s ever loved.”
✨ I am 100% not here for Nancy and Ace both getting potential new love interests again. I mean we go through this every season, I’m tired of suffering 🙃.
✨ I also need Nancy and Ace to get together before the penultimate episode/series finale. I would like to have some episodes of them as an actual couple and to get to explore that dynamic.
✨ Will we finally get Ace’s last name revealed? I could see it happening in the series finale (or not at all).
✨ Do you think the road back will make an appearance? Despite being this powerful/shadowy organization, we haven’t really seen much of them and their actions since season 2.

Elite Season 6: Post Watching Thoughts and Season Ranking List (SPOILERS)
After Samuel’s death in season 5 (and therefore the death of my favorite ship) I honestly wasn’t sure if I would continue with the show. I decided to give it a shot since I had some free time, and I’m actually glad that I did. I definitely think season 6 was the best of the post season 3 offerings. It got back to more of the core of what made the show popular. I also liked that the mystery wasn’t as obvious as the previous two seasons. I really loved the increase in friendship scenes as well. It was great to see everyone hanging out and supporting Isadora. So here are my initial thoughts, I’ll probably add on to this after having more time to think it through. Feel free to let me know your thoughts on this season and your season rankings as well!
I wanted Samuel’s death to have more of an impact. He was the main character since the beginning of the show, and they kinda just brushed past it. I wanted to see a funeral, his friends having a memorial for him, or something. I do think the fact that all the original characters/his friends were gone and no longer in the show impacted that choice, but I still wish it was handled differently (and didn’t happen at all). Also the fact that his killer was freed at the end was so upsetting, that man killed someone and he should pay for his crimes, not get his freedom back. Especially since Ari had finally gotten to a place to accept that what her father did was on purpose and not an accident, that if he had gotten Samuel help then he may still have been alive. Why does every character in this show get away with their crimes? Polo got away with killing Marina, Guzman got away with killing Armando, and Benjamin gets away with killing Samuel. No one is ever held responsible.
Isadora has taken the spot of my favorite character this season. I was kinda neutral on her character last season, but the same thing happened with Cayetana (I wasn’t her biggest fan in seasons 2-3, but loved her and her development in seasons 4-5. She became my favorite post Carla character). I think she also got the best storyline and character development this season as well. I really wanted her to get justice and revenge on the guys who hurt her and I’m glad that in the end she did. I also really like her friendship with Iván and hope we continue to see more of it next season. While this show doesn’t have the best track record with relationships (only one couple has ended up happy and together so far throughout the entire series) I did like her budding relationship with Didac and want to see more of it next season. I hope that in season 7 she gets to be happy, because she’s gone through a lot in seasons 5-6 and deserves it.
The final scene. I was surprised that they ended the season on an actual in the moment cliffhanger. I’m guessing that if anyone ends up getting killed it will be Didac’s brother Pau. If someone gets shot but survives, then I could see Didac being an option as well. It could technically also be some random student getting hit as well, since it happened in the school parking lot area. From what we heard/saw this season it seems like whatever business Pau is involved in is probably shady and not on the up and up, and likely the cause of this drive by shooting. Especially with Isadora’s mom originally meeting with him to discuss business, but then had him escorted/kicked out by security and fired Didac due to them being related. Whatever he was proposing she clearly wasn’t a fan of. It couldn’t just be that he was a potential competitor either, since she would have know that when agreeing to meet and talk business.
Lingering Questions/Thoughts:
• Can Iván and Isadora move in together? Iván is now all alone, while Isadora has been alone her whole life. I think them moving in together would be good and beneficial for both of them. I’m also a big fan of the found family trope.
• Why was no one bothered/upset about living or spending time at the house where Samuel was literally murdered? That was your classmate/friend/boyfriend and you’re all totally cool spending everyday and night at his murder site. Umm no, that should 100% bother all of them and they should have moved.
• Will Sara and Raul get away with their crime? Will being around Iván at school everyday lead to her feeling guilty and confess that she was the one driving the car? I don’t really see Raul admitting to anything though, he’d be more likely to put the entire blame/coverup on Sara.
• Who is responsible for the drive by shooting and did anyone get hurt or killed?
• How are they going to write Omar back into the show as a main character while making sure it makes sense to the plot? He won’t be back there to get revenge for Samuel’s death, since none of the Blanco’s are in season 7. He’s also no longer a student, so he wouldn’t be with the rest of the characters at school. He could get Cayetana’s old job as a cleaner there, or possibly work at Isadora’s club I guess.
My Season Ranking:
1. Season 2
2. Season 1
3. Season 3
4. Season 6
5. Season 4
6. Season 5

Vampire Academy: Post Finale Questions (Spoilers)
Tatiana:
•Is Tatiana actually a dhampir? Andre mentioned that she moved like one. We also never see her use her powers or flash her eyes like the other moroi.
•Is she even a Vogel? The Vogel’s are one of the royal moroi families, so you would think that Tatiana would have some of the knowledge that she needed Andre for. Andre mentioned that having a quorum wouldn’t be a problem for a Vogel, implying that their family line is extensive. Maybe Tatiana took the place of an actual Vogel, which is why she knows nothing about the rules and protocols and needed Andre.
•What is her actual endgame? Like Andre said,  her plan was always about getting the throne but she never mentioned her actually ruling. She also said that her being queen would be short lived. Who is she planning on giving the throne to then? We also know that getting the church and the elementalists on her side was a part of her strategy/plan and that she didn’t actually believe in all of that. Although as a Vogel those are things she should actually believe in and support. What does she actually believe then?
Meredith:
•Is Meredith a spy, an alchemist, or both? Meredith was the only one who knew about the tunnels that weren’t present on any maps. The tunnels are full of alchemist symbols. We know that she disappears during family leave. She also mentioned earlier in the season that she prefers to fight with words rather than fists, which is unusual for a dhampir guardian. Maybe she is actually working with the alchemists or an alchemist herself. See could have been sent undercover to spy on them and reports her findings during her family leave time.
Andre:
•What did he give Lissa? It was a round object with some type of writing/numbers in the center of one side. He gave the thing to her as he said Tatiana isn’t who she says she is, so does it hold the answered to figuring out who she really is?
•Will he get to stay a hot strigoi like we saw in the final shot? The other ones are obviously not like they’re described in the book (and very unattractive), but strigoi Andre was. He also got to keep his eyebrows.
•All the post mortem interviews have basically confirmed that he will end up leading the strigoi now that he’s one of them. Maybe he’ll be the one to take out Tatiana and get his revenge.
•Will Andre be the one responsible for Strigitri in the show? It would definitely be something that would cause conflict between Lissa and Rose.
Sonya:
•Is Sonya going to turn Victor into a strigoi? His fate is left uncertain, but if he was turned then he would no longer have to worry about his declining health (like Christian’s father).

Vampire Academy Episode 9 Reaction and Theories (Spoilers)
I’ve called Tatiana being the one working with the strigoi since the first episode, so yay vindication. I knew there had to be a reason for showing her hooking up with Andre in the first episode.
I also figured out that this season would lead up to Victor becoming a villain, especially when they were making the audience root for and side with him. He’s more in line with his book counterpart now.
Andre being alive is something I thought about and considered, but I didn’t think they would actually go there. I always thought there had to be more for his character when the actor was filming for 6 months and his current screen time and storyline definitely didn’t match up with that.
Andre Theories and Musings: • Does him being alive mean that he’ll be taking the place of Jill in the show?
• Are they just going to kill him off in the finale (probably after he and Lissa are reunited)? Will he die to save/saving Lissa?
• Will they turn Andre into a strigoi, therefore giving Lissa the goal/purpose of figuring out how to turn a strigoi back to its original form?
• If Andre is revealed as being alive to everyone, will he go back to being the heir to the throne? Will this be the reason Lissa and Rose leave and go to the human world (since that was always their original plan)?
• Did Andre even want the throne in the first place or was it just what was expected of him/what he was born for? If he could actually choose his path and future would it be the one laid out for him?
• Will Andre end up being revealed to be not as good of a guy as everyone thinks? Are his beliefs what we think they are or are they more aligned with Tatiana’s? With him and Lissa both alive, it would make sense that he would be the one to get the throne. So either he’s not long for this world, or something would have to happen for Lissa to want the throne over her brother.
• Has the Andre that Lissa has been seeing the actual/real Andre? Is he a spirit user instead of a fire user? Can he dreamwalk? Has that been what’s been happening or has he just been a figment of Lissa’s subconscious? We know that their parents had plans in case Lissa didn’t specialize, did they have these plans because they had to do the same thing for Andre as well?
• Will Andre return as he actually was/is or will he be compelled into having and supporting different beliefs (more Tatiana aligned ones)? Will a corrupted Andre on the throne be the reason that Dimitri and/or Christian go after Rose and Lissa to have them return from the human world to the dominion? Will Lissa need to go against a corrupted Andre for the throne?
Other:
• If Christian’s mom succeeds in capturing/taking Lissa is that how she’ll be reunited with Andre? Will he die to protect/save her? Will he be turned into a strigoi to hurt her? Will Rose and Mason go to save Lissa and it ends in Mason’s death? Will these events be what pushes them to go to the human world?
• Will Christian be put in a situation where he has to kill his mother as well?
• I still feel like Tatiana will force her way onto the throne. Possibly through a marriage to Andre?
• Will Tatiana kill the queen? I feel like she would frame Dimitri or Rose for it. Dimitri and Tatiana’s scene was supposed to be important, maybe she collected some DNA to frame him with during the hookup? Maybe finding out he loves Rose was the important part of that scene? Especially since she has to know how important she is to Lissa as well, Tatiana could want her gone and frame her for the murder to accomplish it.

Possible Francesca Timeline
Since they recast Francesca, I’m expecting her role to expand more. I think she will have one of the major background plots in the upcoming seasons. Here is what I think the timeline could possibly be, obviously this would depend on the time jumps the show does that could differ from the books. I know that technically books 4-6 all overlap timeline wise, so the show could show that, but if they want to keep the focus on one couple a season I could see them changing that and spreading things around more.
Season 3: Francesca is presented at court and named the diamond. We meet John and see their courtship. The season ends with them getting engaged.
Season 4: We see Francesca and John as an engaged couple while the wedding is planned. We get to meet Michael. Francesca and John get married.
Season 5: We will see John die, Francesca will spend the season in mourning.
Season 6: Francesca and Michael’s love story.

Elite’s Season 5 Ending *Contains Spoilers*
Was anyone else incredibly let down and disappointed by the ending of this season? It was known going into this season that it would be the last for the characters of Samuel, Cayetana, Omar, and Rebeka yet they didn’t really have goodbye storylines/scenes like Guzman and Ander got last season. The average person watching wouldn’t even realize that those characters are no longer going to be in the show. This probably means that next season they will get a passing comment saying what happened to them/where they went, or they won’t even be mentioned at all. I’m also still annoyed that Guzman basically peaced out after commuting murder last season, while Samuel took the fall (which is exactly what I said would happen).
Now let’s talk the “death” of the season. First of all WTF was that? Were the similarities to Marina’s death supposed to represent a full circle moment for the shows lead character? The fact that the man Samuel saw as a father figure was the one to do this to him was just dirty, Samuel never has good things happen to him. Is it an ambiguous ending? We don’t exactly see one way or the other what the outcome is. The police come and arrest Benjamin, but what about Samuel? It definitely doesn’t look good with the actor not returning and his character bleeding out for a while before anyone shows up. However, we don’t see if an ambulance or a coroners van shows up. You’d think they would show him being taken away in an ambulance and either being pronounced dead or making it in time to be saved. You also would think they would show him being zipped into a black bag by the coroner. Yet we don’t see either. We also don’t get to see someone telling his next of kin (his mother and Nano) if he’s dead, or see a funeral for him. With the previous main character deaths of Marina and Polo, we saw all of those things. Is this something that will be wrapped up in another short story? If he’s alive, then will we see him in the hospital, possibly reuniting with some old friends, and then moving away? If he’s dead, then will we see his funeral with the possible return of people like Carla, Nano, and Guzman? Or will this all be answered by Ari or someone else making a comment about her father killing her boyfriend or the principle killing a student?
I’m personally hoping that against all odds he manages to survive and reunites with Carla. They were always the shows best couple, and deserved a much better story and ending than the writers and showrunners ever gave them. Thinking about the alternative, where Carla has to burry yet another man she loved is just too devastating and sad. Also if he dies, it’s such an awful and sucky ending to his character, who’s pretty much been the shows punching bag throughout the entire series. Knowing this show though, he’s probably dead and will be quickly forgotten about by all the characters.

The Gilded Age
The fact that Marian told Larry about her secret engagement to Tom, but we didn’t get to see the scene was an absolute crime. Just imagine all the emotions and angst we could have had! Marian and Larry just got crumbs this season. With the scene in episode one, where Larry had Marian promise they would be friends no matter the drama between his parents and her aunts, I expected to actually see more of this friendship on screen. Although her telling him about the secret engagement definitely showed that she trusted him. Hopefully they will get more scenes together in season two. Also they better end up together, I’ve been rooting for them from the beginning!

Outlander
I’m considering reading and watching outlander, but I wanted to get some opinions first.
Do you like the books and the show?
Do you prefer one over the other?
Should I watch all the available seasons of the show first or read all the available books first?
Or should I read the book and then watch it’s corresponding show season? I think each season of the show follows a book, correct me if I’m wrong, so this would probably only work for the first 5 books/seasons though.
Thank you for your help! Are there any other thoughts/opinions/warnings about the books or show you want to share with me or let me know about?

The Gilded Age
So are we all shipping Marian/Larry or Marian/Tom? I thought both pairs had chemistry. I feel like the show is probably going to go for Tom, since his character description mentions being smitten with Marian and there were more scenes on them in the promo. The drama that would come from Marian/Larry is just too good to pass up though! Their families reactions would be everything. How could they not go there at some point? I loved the meet cute that they had! In terms of Downton Abbey, I could see Marian/Tom being similar to Sybil/Branson with the different social statuses, and her families initial disapproval. Although he seems to be a middle class lawyer like Matthew was. Marian/Larry could probably give off more Mary/Matthew vibes (after his inheritance of course) since they are on more equal footing status wise, as well as the families not really being too fond of each other (at first). I’m definitely excited to see where the show goes and which ship will end up being the main ship of the show!

I know it’s probably an unpopular opinion, but I liked Elena/Stefan and Elena/Damon. I also liked Caroline/Tyler, Caroline/Klaus, and Caroline/Stefan (unfortunately all 3 of those men ended up dead, and I’m still upset about it). Bonnie/Enzo were great too (he also died though, which was just cruel since they deserved a happy ending). Actually, I think Elena/Damon were the only couple to end up together (and alive) in the end. Which made me happy for them, but sad for all the others who didn’t get that.

The original endgame love interest leaving and being replaced by two suitors is giving me major Mary’s men from Downton Abbey season 4 vibes. I wonder if Charlotte will end up with Alexander Colbourne or Colonel Francis Lennox? I feel Alexander may have an advantage since Charlotte’s sister Alison’s love interest, Captain William Carter, is also in the military. I’m just not sure they would have both sisters end up with military men, but since we know nothing about them or where the story will go, who knows. With a nine month time jump I think they will have Sidney and Eliza (offscreen obviously) be expecting, or just have given birth to, their first child. I’m guessing that by the end of season 2, or if it ends in a cliffhanger then the first episode of season 3, Charlotte will have made her choice between her two suitors and we’ll see them together as a couple during season 3.

With Guzman leaving at the end of the season and not being in season 5, it’s very likely he will get away with murder, however when Samuel and Rebeka helped him dispose of the body they became accomplices. It was a choice though, for the writers to have made Guzman the killer when they knew he was leaving the show and wouldn't be around for any of the fallout due to his actions. Since we know that Armando’s body will be found, I can definitely see the crime falling on one of them instead (mainly Samuel since he’s the lead and bad things tend to happen to him).

Rewatching rookie blue for the first time in years, and I made it to the your my story scene and it still tugs at the heartstrings and makes me emotional. I just loved them together and wish the show was still on and had more seasons (although 6 is a pretty good number).
If you also watch the rookie and ship chenford, how great would a scene like this be between Lucy and Tim?
