Kosei Fujita is a future main event name in NJPW after that trios match. That was incredible, a star making performance that only Okada could have given him. So sad to see the Rainmaker leaving, but if it means the likes of Fujita get to rise? Then that is fine. It's time for the next generation to be fully unleashed. Putting Umino & Narita in the main event over Okadas last match in the venue says that is what NJPW intends to do - and I'm excited.

Been absent from this blog for a bit, but everyone needs to go watch Jun Kasai & El Desperado vs. Jon Moxley & Homicide - but only if you enjoy some nasty shit. That was incase. Kasai made his NJPW debut after 25 years of deathmatches, and brought that energy with him.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ 3/4 - SANADA has been fantastic since the New Japan Cup, and this first title defense against his former factionmate Hiromu Takahashi was fantastic. Great action and emotion from bell to bell.
