i do unironically think the best artists of our generation are posting to get 20 notes and 3 reblogs btw. that fanfic with like 45 kudos is some of the best stuff ever written. those OCs you carry around have some of the richest backstories and worldbuilding someone has ever seen. please do not think that reaching only a few people when you post means your art isn't worth celebrating.

hey was scrolling through ur posts (and probs accidentally spamming u sorry) and I saw your post about Peter liking different sciences to Tony and I completely agree, but I especially love it when- in fics (or in my head)- Peter and Bruce bond over science as well.

I just find it adorable that after Bruce goes through so much of his life being seen as ‘hulk’ there’s this kid who knows exactly what it’s like to be afraid of yourself, and despite that this kid loves to nerd out with ‘dr. banner’ and eat chinese takeout with ‘bruce’.

PETER ANS BRUCE FRIENDSHIP YES

God i regularly think about if Marvel wasn’t filled with cowards and if they had been willing to let Bruce take Peter in after FFH. Bruce just being Peter’s bodyguard. Bruce helping Peter deal with the sudden fame. Bruce helping peter understand the college application process (especially as a person with a wrongfully bad reputation) (helping, instead of yelling) (side eye to Stephen Strange abt the yelling thing). Bruce calling Peter in to help in his lab when Bruce knows Peter needs a friend. Peter and bruce talking through the frustration of knowing that they are too physically strong to let themselves be angry.

JUST. THEM. god i wish they had time together.

you're definitely in too deep with an oc once you start coming up with hypothetical tumblr posts about them

date idea: we drink wine while a dilapidated mansion crumbles around us

neither “that’s not canon” nor “fuck canon we made this all up” but a secret third thing (canon shouldn’t be taken as gospel but is useful as a reference point for building upon and recontextualizing characters and details. if you worship the source material as unchangeable then fandom in general probably isn’t for you. if you have complete disdain for the source material you would probably enjoy yourself more in a different fandom)

it's always high camp when you get into a new piece of media and you're like "ok, even though this character is seemingly designed to make me froth at the mouth, i will resist, i will stay strong, i won't become a parody of myself" and then you watch the character for about five seconds and you imprint on them

on my hands and knees begging ppl to recognize platonic content. sometimes 2 guys r just friends . i dont mean this in the 'stop making everything romantic way' i mean this in the 'stop calling 2 friends who bicker siblings and stop treating any remotely caring remotely older character like a parental figure' ohhhh my god . they are not siblings they r buddies . u are all underestimating the power of having a buddy
