So the good news for those reading Ashes is that I've retired from mythic raiding in WoW. The bad news is I've become addicted to Star Wars: the Old Republic game.

I am still actively writing Ashes (as if I could ABANDON Obi-Wan and Adrina in their hour of need). BUT, I probably won't be updating it until I finish writing through Ep 3. By my estimates, that's about six more chapters.

Famine now, feast later. It will be worth it! (I hope.)

For 10+ years a child goes to a forest to play/talk with the fairies there despite local legends of their sadism/cruelty, and afflicting fates worse than death. So when the now 16 y/o child is abducted, the traffickers find out not all local legends are BS when the fairies come for their “pet”.
