Okay, small little ramble, but I want like... Genuine thoughts?
Why is it always overthrow the government this or destroy the government that. When we, gen z, as the up coming generation are able to fix it?
Think about it. The general set up of our government is ingenious, and in all honesty probably very beneficial, yes there are things that can be changed, but let's be honest, everyone knows that, this shit was set up over 2 centuries ago.
But instead of like... Completely obliterating it, why don't we just fix it. We technically have the power. And a lot of us the mindset.
Like economy? Well money and worth is a concept, we can rely on trade for a little while, equal trade etc. money only has value because, we, as humans say it do. So we can get rid of debt through talking to other countries, offering this research to pay off debt because xyz.
War? We are all human and obviously there's going to be issues but if we decide to discuss that rather than just going at it it may like... You know... Not happen as much?
Homelessness/ struggling people? We can go back to being able to build houses, wood, clay, what you can deal with outside. Food, easily found in nature if you know what to look for.
Basically just going back to the earth. Resorting to older ways before tech. And before I hear shit like 'oh but Perci, what about the improvement in medicine?' etc. we can still keep shit like that it doesn't just go poof.
My whole thing is the organization of the government, we take everyone who's currently out and we add a bunch more requirements and things you have to pass before you can enter those positions, and let the PEOPLE rule. That's what our gov. Is actually for. To listen and follow the best interests of the people as a whole.

specifically forbidden secret romance jegulus. think first half of choices. think sneaking off to the astronomy tower. think of them melting into each other because there is no way this can last and so they just cling to each other.
i mean-

you can't tell me that that isn't regulus. or james actually. you make me see the starts late at night is a very james pov line, but the rest of that first verse is extremely regulus coded, and the chorus is their tragedy coming together. they're doomed to forever be nothing but two broken hearts, because even when they're together they know that they won't be for long.
anyway very happy that the album is here, I really enjoyed listening to it. and jegulus. yeah.

AHHH I need a fanfiction of this so bad-
my roman empire is james and regulus being a couple for years as teenagers.
both men being teased for remaining chronically single.
james asking sirius about regulus, and being shut down with an "i dont want to talk about him,"
regulus staring at him during meal-times. his friends assumed he was looking at sirius.
james asking lily out, in seventh year, and everybody breathing a sigh of relief: "thank merlin, hes not queer"
regulus stiffening when "wouldn't it be nice" started playing.
james blatantly refusing to have his and lily's first dance to "can't help falling in love" for a reason nobody could quite understand.
regulus still smelling james in amortentia, even years afterwards.
james knowing something is wrong, in his gut. nobody believes him when he says that something terrible has happened.
no-one understanding, or wanting to understand, why james potter was so affected by his best friend's little brother dying.
james telling lily to run, but not moving. he wasn't scared; he'd see regulus again soon.
