This is my first time ever building any kind of model. Gotta say, it's really fun but my fingers, eyes and back are begging for mercy. Also, I broke a piece but it's ok cause no one will notice

I'm taking a (very long) moment to appreciate the sun and what it creates. Like, have y'all seen LIGHT? Have y'all seen SHADOWS? Have y'all seen COLORS? Have y'all seen your cats soaking in the sun? The wooden floor brightening up in certain spots? The light reflecting on certain objects and creating small rainbow balls? Have you felt the reassuring warmth of the sun on your skin after a cold day? And how beautiful the sky looks, with and without clouds, during midday, during sunrise, during sunset?

I tried taking care of it while still in the pot, but it started losing leaves again. I (very sadly) took the decision of letting it die because I don't think I can do anything about it... But I did take the few leaves left and put them in water, hopefully the propagation goes well!

Here's what it looked like when I took it out of the pot (and why I don't think I could have saved it)

I kept finding trash in the dirt and at the bottom there was a layer of polyester and a whole piece of terracotta.

This is what it looks like now:

I NEED HELP PLEASE, I'M TRYING TO SAVE A PLANT

So I found these 2 pots with succulents in them. They haven't been watered in years (the only little water they got was rain)... Needless to say they're looking rough. One was just dead, so I took it out of the pot and found a whole piece of polyester in it????

The other has also got polyester in it, BUT it's still alive (hardly). It's only got 6 leaves and I really don't know what I should do with it. Should I repot it and water it a lot? Is it better to try and propagate it? Would that work in its conditions?

I think it's a Portulacaria afra jacq, but it's looking pretty bad, so it might be something else. Here's a picture (ignore the background please):

I started with succulents like everyone else but tbh orchids are rapidly becoming my plant blorbos. Everyone takes care of them wrong and it's not your FAULT because the care instructions that come with them are!! Incorrect!!! If you do what they say then your orchid will die!!!! If you give them the right environment they're SO easy. They're such easy plants to grow. They have been UNFAIRLY SLANDERED by a MISINFORMATION campaign. They don't deserve this.

I absolutely love holding books in my hands! I like it when the pages are slightly yellow, with little imperfections that make it feel more alive. I like it when the pages are thin, and I have to turn each one carefully because I'm scared of breaking them, it makes them feel more precious. I like it when books smell nice, when the edges are ruined, when there are coffee stains on the pages or random lines drawn with a black pen; it makes me think of the people who momentarily put on hold their own life to experience and love a book.
