Friendly reminder that this is a roleplay blog. I can't respond to asks that don't keep that in mind. Usually I have no limit on how many asks people send me, because I don't really get overwhelmed by that stuff. I know to take my time.

Problem here is that it gets to be a little tedious deleting asks that have no thought or consideration behind them. I like silly shit, but only if I can write Mahito mostly in character for it. I write Mahito from the angle of being A Problem (dangerous, threat, etc) and not the 'silly lil' guy that's quirky' angle. While the latter is certainly part of the former, I get bombarded (and I mean BOMBARDED) with asks from mostly personals treating him like some silly lil' guy that will go along with nonsense. When he won't. Especially with humans (unless you've earned your fun badge with him).

If I can't answer in character or explain something about him out of character, then those asks aren't for this blog. I'm open to engaging with anyone, I just ask for folks to be mindful so we both can have fun.

This is a boundary post. Not throwing shade. Personals (and roleplayers for the most part) that have been following/mutuals with me for a bit now should know this isn't about them - or have already been told. But if you're worried, just let me know. Usually I handle this stuff privately but the issue is a lot of them have been anons, and while I suspect the blog(s) involved I don't want to accuse anyone in case I'm mistaken. So unfortunately, I gotta make a public post at this point to try and scoop all the known ones and unknown ones together. Sorry about that!

Nikolai removed the mask that covered his right eye, showing a deep emerald green eye.. One eye was jade, while the other was a blue-ish gray, and to top it off, his gray eye's pupil was a cross.

It was a soft warning by comparison. The hand slipped past her head to cup the back of her neck, drawing her face first into his chest. Nothing worked better with Lynn than some positive reinforcement.

as someone that has been a fan of parasyte since i was a kid, and enjoyed when the anime was finally dropped - and has been fed here and there more content from that series over the years. i'm just like. musing over my old rp muse of gotou and the similarities that crossover with mahito here. and not just in the general shapeshifting, but also in like. where they end up settling over their arc. the moment they just don't have anyone else to ground them, they just become fucking monsters outright.

As a reminder, since I have new followers: I don't mind answering asks from personals or other roleplay blogs. However, I won't engage in a thread/roleplay with personals outright or blogs that don't specify their age. It's evident to me when blogs haven't read my rules. I appreciate anyone interested in roleplaying and I'm always happy to help explain or teach people wanting to roleplay. I have two decades of experience roleplaying on the internet and both as a GM/DM and player in various ttrpgs. However, I don't appreciate my rules and boundaries being ignored. Especially when my pinned post directs people easily enough.

I know it's likely accidental and unintentional and am willing to give the benefit of the doubt. Which is why I'm not really mad or anything. This is just a reminder that if I won't engage outside of answering asks (maybe) if I don't see age stated somewhere. I try to make my blog accessible to mutuals and non-mutuals alike. For personals and roleplayers to have fun with even with just asks. Please respect my rules like I'm trying to respect everyone's safety.

I don't mind personals or roleplayers sending me asks ic or ooc, connecting asks whether they are headcanons, silly things, short roleplays in asks. I understand with personals they may have an OC but not a blog for them, I really don't mind engaging with asks then. I'm very easy going with all a lot of stuff. I just ask if you want to engage with my Mahito, shoot me a DM or have it listed on your blog your age or age range. And I don't mean that as one off engagements, I mean for threads or prolonged engagements where we'd be roleplay partners specifically. xD

As well, if the age thing is solved and I don't receive the same effort as I give with writing replies (as in the content of a reply, everyone knows I'm slow af) I'm likely not going to engage.

Age and reply effort really tends to be the only things I look for when it comes to engagement. I'm pretty open to giving people a chance beyond that.

It has been on my mind for a bit since I've gained followers even while being slow. Some roleplayers, more personals. I likely won't follow back personals but I wanted them to know I don't mind their presence so long as they are mindful of my rules.
