Story time.

One night I had a customer come in and after they ordered they handed me a frequent diner card and said it was a gift card. I explained to them that it was not a gift card but a frequent diner card. The customer then looked me straight in the face and said "obviously you're new here since you don't know how a gift card works". Let me remind you I have been working there for over 4 years. At this point I have no idea what to say to the customer so I just apologize and tell her I'll work on it.

One night I was working in drive through. A women pulled up and asked for a kids meal with avocado added. I explained to her that it is against corporate rules to modify the kids meals. She then goes on to tell me that other branches of our restaurant let her. I then go on to tell her that I understand that but I am not allowed to. She then tells me "I asked for avocado and you're gonna give it to me." And I'm just sitting there like

Customer: can you tell me what soups you have?

Me: of course! We have broccoli, chicken noodle, and ravioli.

Customer: do you have potatoe?

Me: no but we do have broccoli, chicken noodle, and ravioli.

Customer: sooooo no potato?
