Aðalsteinn, the faithful servant

He was borne from the blood of an Elder Vampire who lays asleep, near mortally wounded from a fateful encounter with the Hunters.  He wanders masterless but always attuned to the desires of his absent master.  Due to his absence from human society, he is rather naive but he makes up for it with persistence and a willingness to experiment.

The Wither Queen

She maintains her youth by sapping the life out of those around her.  She once was human but, in a jealous fit, a goddess cursed her for her beauty.  The once benevolent and beautiful queen watched as her land and subjects died before her - all those rushing to aide her felled by her delicate touch.

The goddess, still angered by her beauty sought to curse her more - to make her suffer needlessly.  Another goddess felt pity towards the queen and protected her spirit from the angry goddess.  The curse of eternal suffering rebounded, killing the queen and binding the spirit of the angry goddess to the empty form of the queen.

The goddess initially rejoiced at now becoming the beauty she was so jealous of but, in horror, she quickly realized the torment she must eternally live in.  Although she has beauty, all admirers die before her.  Food rots and water grows rancid at her touch.  Eternally, she will be alone and suffer.

Eluci, the wanderer.

No one knows who they are but they have been seen in glimpses wandering across the realms. The last sighting was in the Elder Forests.  Rumor and legend have cropped up due to the mysterious nature of the individual.  Some think they are a forgotten god taken human form to wreck terror on those who forgot them.  Some think they are the spirit of the land, judging the lives of those who live upon it.  Some think they are just some weirdo with no land to live on and nothing better to do with their life.  

Regardless, none is actually known and none have gotten close enough to ask.
