if its related, i would like to know who is risking, what is the risk, where is the risk, why risk, whose risk, risk risk risk

its just that the title is always there and its so aggressive like ‘RISK’ and i want to know more!

this ask made me chuckle a lil bit ♡⸝⸝ i hope you’re well, too ! for the most part, i chose the name “RISK” because i was (and still am) inspired by the song “risk” by deftones from the diamond eyes album ! it’s basically the theme song lol. it overall fits the tone / mood of my fic, or so i’d like to think !!! the word and all of its meanings and uses suit the fic, too:

noun: (1) danger, or the possibility of danger, defeat, or loss (2) someone or something that creates or suggests a hazard verb: (1) to expose (someone or something valued) to danger, harm, or loss (2) to do something although there is a chance of undesirable consequences (3) to venture upon; take or run the chance of

the “who” can be applied to all the characters in RISK, since everyone is in danger and/or risking something ... but most importantly reader and ghost (。＞＜) i can’t say what exactly the risk is (aside from the obvious which is their lives), that’s up for interpretation and it’ll become way more apparent as the other antagonists and conflicts come into play !!! the risk is everywhere — it follows them, it’s in the pause before reader speaks as she tries her best to not slip up and say something she shouldn’t, it’s in ghost’s conflicted feelings and grows more precarious the longer he looks at her, etc. i can’t explain the why, because that’s also up for interpretation !!! everything is up for interpretation and theory !!!!

When I first started reading RISK I totally saw reader as Miranda Kerr. I also really like Taylor Russel as reader, especially after seeing her in bones and all. The reason why I like Miranda Kerr for reader is because she has such cute dimples when she smiles and I feel like in the future when Ghost gets to see Reader smile, and I mean like a real big genuine smile, he falls in love with her dimples and wants to see them all the time, always cherishing every time he gets a chance to see those dimples, any way that’s the little thing Ive had in my head for the past couple of days :). Also just wondering how tall do you see reader as, I feel like she gives off 5’4 to 5’6 vibes!

omg reader having dimples would be sooo cute ♡⸝⸝ i can see ghost staring at them while she smiles and then tries to play it off when she’s like, “what?” i try my hardest to not write any physical descriptors, but you can def imagine she has them if you want !!!

i don’t have an exact height for reader in mind, aside from her height in relation to ghost and maybe a few other characters. for me personally, the max she’d be is 5’6 !!! around valeria’s height but shorter than everyone else, i’d say !

I love the theory’s that were previously written, I’d like to add my thoughts lol. I think that Reader is somehow related by blood to Barkov or possibly Makarov? The reason I think this is because I think you once said that it isn’t readers fault because she was born into it or something, I might be wrong completely in saying you wrote anything like that lol I have a bad memory. Also some more evidence to back up my claim is when Barkov is after Reader when she is 5 (yk the whole I killed someone when I was five, and her guardian at the time was killed), to me I feel like Reader is related by blood in some way to Barkov and the Readers grandmother or female relative didn’t want her to live the life she was born into, but then Barkov takes her back? I feel like her lack of government identity is directly because of Barkov or Makarov. I have no idea if that makes sense. Also I get human trafficking vibes because I know you once said that reader was running for the rest time when she escaped at 15, so she was very isolated from the world similar to the human trafficking, basically I think she was just very isolated from the world because of her lineage, maybe because Barkov wanted to keep her hidden, something like that. Any way thank you for writing such a beautiful story, I cannot wait to see where you take it. Also sorry for the rant.

ooo this is a good theory ! -` ♡ ´- it’d be wild if reader was blood-related to barkov or makarov ! a long time ago in an ask i answered, i may or may not have kinda described the possible hypothetical dynamic between makarov and reader, which in turn may have alluded to there not being a blood relation to makarov for ... certain reasons, but i won’t disprove your theory about barkov possibly being related to reader — that one is so juicy (｡˃ ᵕ ˂ ) the TEA !

Omg, my theory is that y/n is DEFINETLY connected to Makarov in some way, like maybe years after she escaped from prison when she was 15. I don't remember which chapter it is, but she had like a history of pick pocketing and maybe that's how she met him (he gives vibes that he wears alot of expensive things like suits, watches, expensive cologne, ect.) But I kinda don't think they met through her pick pocketing him. Maybe he thought her lack of identity would be useful to him (like how the CIA does or maybe he is the reason she doesn't really have an identity) but I 100% think that she used to work for him in some way?? She doesn't really give the vibe that she'd get wrapped up in anything with Makarov willingly, so maybe it was kind of the situation with laswell where she was sorta threatened into it?? Whenever the reader was talking to Valaria about him (I can't really remember everything, I haven't done my weekly rereading of it yet) and how she thought Makarov would be useful to Valeria, cause how would you know how useful he'd be if you didn't know kind of an in depth of his operation and what he does?? Unless it's public information idk

Sorry for my rambling 😔. My theory might not make anyyy sense, i just had to get it off my chest. I just love Risk sm it's my favorite fic of all time

thank you ! ♡⸝⸝ my childhood was a bit of a blur, but a one of my fav memories is me going to the pumpkin patch !!!! i went on the hayride and thought it was going SO fast but it actually wasn’t (˚ ˃̣̣̥⌓˂̣̣̥ ) and the corn maze scared me so bad !!! kid me was a wimp </3 a few years ago i went back to that pumpkin patch and was slightly disappointed …

another memory i’d say is one of my favorites is slightly embarrassing but also really cute. think, this is in the era during aquamarine and h2o: just add water — for a couple years i wanted to be a mermaid so bad and was convinced i had mermaid powers !!!!!! i wanted to be rikki so bad lmao

hiii ! you’re actually spot on (｡˃ ᵕ ˂ ) i loved it as a child, and was even a part of this lil club at school back then and we managed the school’s garden ♡ it was sm fun !!! there’s a (mostly vegetable but also herb and some flowers) garden at my house from spring to fall-ish, where my mother grows all sorts of things ! we also have a small hydroponic garden inside that grows basil and cherry tomatoes year-round, but i depend on it heavily during the winter so i can always cook my fav pasta <3 i also have houseplants !!! a pothos, and three struggling succulents lmao.

for other hobbies outside of writing and reading, i love playing video games + watching playthroughs on youtube, walking around at parks, going to piers to see water because it’s so relaxing, and visiting historic (and haunted) places as well as just researching history and looking at old maps. i love a good adventure !! seeing new places, exploring. i also love sewing, archery, and journaling when i remember to do it lmao. kayaking and ice skating as well, but i’m a beginner at both and don’t have the money to buy the equipment </3
