Well said! For thoes who are not as well educated on this, here ya go.
Pedophilia is not a kink.
You’re absolutely right! Pedophilia is disgusting and awful, it ruined my childhood and left me scarred for life.
However, I have the sneaking suspicion this is in reference to the content of my blog. DDLG is not pedophilia when practiced between consenting adults. By this fallacy, pet play is beastiality, knife play is assault, and furries are literally animals.
Pedophilia is the attraction to prepubescence, my partner is not attracted to children and neither am I. We are both attracted to our mature bodies and we are both legally able to consent.
He does not get off on me acting like a baby, he gets off on the vulnerability I give to him when I’m in my subspace. He gets off on the power dynamic, the fact that he is my dominant. NOT the fact that I’m sucking on a binkie, that is just aesthetic for my subspace. It’s the same for my pet play, he gets off on the loyalty and vulnerability that I give him when I’m sitting at his feet with my collar and ears on. He knows he’s in control and that I’m here to please him. He doesn’t get off on the fact that I have dog ears on and look like a dog.
I know you meant this as hate but I felt this was a good time to educate on what DDLG is. If you’re anti ddlg you might as well be anti kink. Because, all kinks are based on the same thing, power dynamics between consenting parties, the only thing that varies is the mechanics and aesthetics.

Suggested Crystals for Ostara
Tumblr media
Ostara – also referred to as the Spring Equinox – will be here on March 20th in the Northern hemisphere. At this point of the year, day and night are of equal length, and in perfect equilibrium. The Sun becomes stronger; days become longer; the land becomes fertile and abundant with life. Ostara is a festival of fertility, rebirth, growth, renewal, balance, and new beginnings. For this reason, crystals associated with any of these aspects are appropriate for this time of year. This not only includes growth of new life, but growth of the mind, the spirit, the physical body, careers, education, and success.
Below is a suggested list of some crystals you might consider for your Ostara altar, or to use in rituals or spells at this time of year:
Crystals for Ostara:
Clear quartz: associated with cleansing, healing, and clearing the mind of negativity. Ostara is a time of renewal and balance – clear quartz can help clear the mind, improve mental focus, and bring balance to your chakras and the soul.
Amazonite: associated with healing, soothing, calming, and balancing body and mind. This crystal is said to calm emotions, and align the physical body to the etheric. This crystal can be used to bring balance and harmony this Ostara, soothe the spirit, and calm the soul.
Citrine: associated with success, abundance, prosperity, inspiration, creativity, imagination, and personal will. Ostara is a time for growth, and a celebration of abundance. Citrine is great for growth in your career and/or education, and encourages the process of transforming hopes and dreams into reality. Citrine has also been associated with drawing in wealth, abundance, and prosperity of all kinds.
Fluorite: associated with protection, stabilising, grounding, and harmonising spiritual energy. Since Ostara celebrates balance and equilibrium, this crystal’s stabilising abilities are great for balancing our minds.
Lapis Lazuli: associated with spiritual growth, self-awareness, and development. This crystal is said to open the third eye and balance the throat chakra. Lapis Lazuli can be used in dream work, contacting spirit guides, and developing spiritual abilities. It can also help balance physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual bodies. Some say Lapis Lazuli helps stimulate wisdom and good judgment – and so could be used for enhancing intellectual growth this Ostara.
Moonstone: associated with balancing emotions, love, intuitiveness, divination, and perception. Again, Ostara is all about celebrating balance – Moonstone can be used to bring balance and stabilise emotions. It has also been used to help stabilise hormonal imbalances. Moonstone has also been associated with growth in intuition.
Needless to say, none of these crystals should be used as replacement for medical or therapeutic treatment. I like to think of crystals as an ‘enhancer’ or ‘supplementary healer’ – a little extra help in my personal growth.
Just to note, this list is just my suggestions - there are likely to be many other crystals I haven’t thought of!
Enjoy Ostara, and blessed be! <3

Indeed!
Tumblr media
Being A Magical Practitioner: 1. Question everything you are told and read. 2. Hell even question this post. Only YOU can decide what is right and what works for you. 3. What may work for someone else may not work for you. What may work for you may not work for someone else. 4. Your practices are YOUR practices.
Support: 1. Ancestral veneration is so important. 2. Communicate with your ancestors daily. 3. They will help and guide you on your journey more than you will ever know. 4. You have several guardian angels and guardian spirits built into your existence, get to know them. 5. There is magic within you. Embrace your own power. 6. Mind your own magic. You don’t have to do what everyone else is doing. You don’t have to explain your practices to anyone else. Do you.
Tools: 1. White candles are fantastic for every single purpose. 2. You can print your own labels for glass candles and glue them on plain glass candles.  You will save money this way in the long run. 3. You don’t need every single tool to start off with. 4. Water is life. Water keeps the flow of your magic, filters and is a conduit to you and spirit. Keep clear glasses of water in your home. Change them often. 5. Your altar space doesn’t need to be fancy. 6. You do not need expensive herbs. 7. Mirrors and Magnets are the best tools closest to crystals to magnify and amplify your magic. 8. The bible is a book full of spells and divination.
Herbs: 1. You can get most of the herbs you need from your local super market and dollar store. 2. Salt: Protection or cursing. Various Powdered Peppers: Protection and Cursing. Cinnamon: Money and Lust work. Basil: Money and Luck. Bay Leaves: Protection and Granted Wishes. Rosemary: Protection. Chamomile: Peaceful Home Workings. Cloves: Protection, Love, Control and Bindings. Eucalyptus: Cleansing. Thyme: Purification, Healing.
Floor Washes: 1. Do Floor Washes in odd numbers. One series to remove the negativity and one series to bring in good energy. 2. Curse Killer Floor Wash: Hot Water, Ammonia, Lemon, Salt (optional) Open Roads Floor Wash: Cold Water, Florida Water, Parsley, Mint Leaves, Coconut Water (Strained of pulp)
Various Cleansings: 1. Cigar or tobacco smoke is a great alternative to sage sticks. 2.  You can cleanse yourself with an egg and a glass of water. 3. You can cleanse yourself with lemons, limes and oranges. 4. When cleansing your home make sure to open your windows and doors. 5. Start from the back of the home towards the front and then to various rooms to confuse the negative energy. 6. A can of beer and salt will cleanse your aura. 7. When you cleanse yourself, make sure to replace what you removed with good energy.
Powders: 1. You do not need to purchase branded powders from metaphysical shops. Money/luck powder:  Bank dirt, Shredded currency and corn starch. Love/Passion powder: Rose petals, Cinnamon and corn starch. Open Roads powder: Dirt from four corners of a crossroads and corn starch. Add three dimes to bottom of container. Cursing Powder: Graveyard dirt from criminals grave, black pepper, red pepper, cayenne pepper. Protection Powder: Church Dirt, Psalm 91 passage from bible, Psalm 23 from the bible grinded into a powder. Oils: 1. Do not buy oils from the botanicas and metaphysical shops. Most are made with mineral oil, a synthetic fragrance and colorant. If you want that, Get yourself some baby oil, food coloring and scented fragrance oil of your choosing. I wouldn’t recommend it though. 2. Get yourself some Olive oil, Sunflower oil, Grapeseed oil and Vegetable oil at the supermarket along with some Vitamin E oil for preservative. You can make your own charged oils with herbs and a few glass bottles. 3. My favorite simple oils: Lust Oil: Sunflower oil base, Vitamin E,  Cinnamon stick, red rose petals, and Vanilla Bean Money Oil: Grapeseed oil base, Vitamin E, Cinnamon stick, nutmeg, basil and thyme. Protection Oil: Olive Oil base, Vitamin E, Rosemary, Basil, Eucalyptus Life Force Oil: For when you need extra power in your magic. Olive oil base, 3 drops of blood. Blessing Oil: Olive Oil, Vitamin E and Psalm 91 torn from the bible.
Deities: 1. You do not have to have a deity in your practice. 2. You can practice secular magic. Secular magic is a practice that does not refer to, venerate and otherwise “work with” any deities (or, in some cases, any supernatural beings at all). This is perfectly okay. 3. If working with deity, never promise what you can’t provide. 4. Feed your spirits and deities. This can be with food, alcohol, energy, light, darkness, anything. 5. Know the spirits and deities you are working with. 6. Listen to your intuitive pulls when it concerns your deity. 7. No one can tell you the right or wrong way to worship and work with your deity BUT you should learn their mythos and their base wants, needs and what offends them. Misc Magic Info: 1. Your magic will not punish you because you can’t practice every single day. We are human, and sometimes life gets the best of us. It is okay. 2. Magic should never ever replace mental and physical health diagnosis and services from healthcare professionals. 3. “Black magic” is a racist term used to demonize the practices of people of color that are seen as “barbaric” or “uncivilized” to Europeans. Therefore “White magic” is considered good and “black magic” is considered bad. Energy is energy. Do not allow anyone to dictate your practice. That racist term is bullshit. Our melanin is magic. Our cultures and our roots are power. 4. You can purchase a Tarot deck from Amazon. You don’t need it gifted to you. 5. ALWAYS have a fire extinguisher in your home. 6. NEVER leave candles unattended in your home. 7. Coffee grounds speed up work. 8. Meditate. Leave the fuckery of the day at the end of the day. You will thank yourself in the long run. 9. Keep info to yourself. Not everyone needs to know what you are doing or all your secrets. 10. Do not bring your shoes into your home.

Crystal Gridding
How I crystal grid, which is a combo of what I’ve learned from various books.
Tumblr media
Pick your center stone/generator
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Books vary about how many stones to use around the generator. Some suggest 4, some suggest 6. You can use variants of 4 (4, 8, 12) or 6 (3, 6, 9, 12) You’ll notice they both have 12 in common. Just like 12 birthstones, 12 zodiac, 12 months, etc. You can use any number of stones, but I’ve felt the best energy when I channel with 6.
The first stones around the generator should relate to your intentions the most.
Tumblr media
The second row kind of sets the mood of your intentions, kind of like a screen. This green aventurine was meant to boost the heart chakra, and clear negativity.
Tumblr media
When I am using high vibrational stones like angel aura quartz in the center, I like to ground the outside with nature corresponding stones and minerals like abalone, tree jasper, or black tourmaline.
Tumblr media
But grids can be as simple as this! And the stones don’t have to be the same.
Tumblr media
Pay attention to what direction the points are going. Inward brings in energy, outward distributes energy.
Once the grid is set, pause and really set your intentions for the grid. I like to keep my crystal grid up over night.
I have rose quartz, clear quartz, and angel aura quartz generators available at www.messageinthecrystal.storenvy.com

Knowledge is power. Learn, ask questions, & communication is key! Important rules to live by in the lifestyle!
We the Kinky...
We the Kinky, of the BDSM Culture, in order to form a more Unified society, establish Safe Sane and Consensual, insure Tolerance, provide awareness against Predators, promote general Wellbeing, and secure the blessings of Knowledge to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Guideline for the Sexually Liberated.
Guidelines of Liberation:
1.  Protect yourself - You are the first and last defense for your well being, take the time and effort to know who you are playing with. Vetting someone is not telling them you don’t trust them, it’s telling them that you care about yourself. If they have a problem with this, they may not have your best interests at heart. Additionally, Safewords are a valuable method of communication. Assign no stigma to them, (you are not ruining a scene, or disappointing your partner, by using them) as they can prevent problems; physical, mental and emotional.
2.  Inform Yourself - There are many resources for beginners and advanced alike, FIND THEM! Knowledge and furthering your education about kinks will allow you to get more out of your time and allow you to explore new things. It will also help you communicate your needs with a partner (or potential)
3.  Know Yourself - While the fantasy that your partner knows you better than you do is great. It is almost never the case early on. Know what drives you, why you choose this lifestyle. What you wish to gain or give. Know what is important to you, and what you need from it.
4.  Choose your own Identity - never let someone else tell you who or what you are. Labels can be a trap or even be misleading If you feel you are “something” then don’t let anyone else tell you otherwise. For some even having an “Identity” is limiting, so remember that “Choosing not to decide, is still a choice” (and an option)
5.  Choose your own Limits - Your limits are exactly that, YOURS. You decide what you Will Not do, or Must Have, in your relationships. No one else can make that determination for you. You certainly CAN choose to have no limits with a trusted partner, but that is YOUR choice, not theirs.
6.  Choose your own Kink - Enjoy what you enjoy… It’s OK… You are free to be you. Don’t hesitate to experiment, Read, LEARN. But above all, be kind and true to yourself.
7.  Communicate, Communicate, Communicate - Mind reading is not possible. Knowing a person so deeply that you can read or predict them is. But that usually takes years of… you guessed it… Communication.  You have to learn how to communicate; your needs, your desires, your fears… even if it’s a crayon drawing, make the effort to make yourself understood. This will only benefit your relationships.
8.  Protect your Partner(s) - There are times when someone has placed trust in you. Those times are when they are most vulnerable. This is true for both sides of the slash. Sometimes you can push yourself beyond your own limits “for the sake of your partner” and it’s possible they are doing the same. This scenario can end badly. Simple “yellow” safewords (by either side) can mean the difference between a good scene and a bad one. Additionally, knowing their medical or special needs is critical.
9.  Protect your Friends - Be there for them, to talk to, to confide in, on the watch for red flags they may miss. Pay attention to who is approaching them at public gatherings, require communications from them before they leave with people they did not arrive with. Be their safe call.  We all have the potential to miss important tells when the NRE (New Relationship Energy) kicks in. Since you are on the outside, your feedback and watchfulness may make the difference one day… Likewise, be ready to accept this same input from another trusted friend.
10. Protect your Community - Be aware of, and Follow, the rules and policies of any venue, Public or Private. Do not Create or Bring Drama to public venues, sometimes it’s unavoidable, so work closely with the venue’s administration to minimize this. Creating problems, or failing to follow established rules and guidelines can get venues closed or create undesired law enforcement interdiction. Don’t be that person.
11. Accept the Variety - Remember that your kink is not everyone else’s just as theirs may not be yours. Be kind and remember that we all have different tastes with the same mantra of Safe, Sane, and Consensual. If we cannot be accepting of each other in this community, we certainly should not expect those outside our realm to accept us.
12. Cause no Harm - Never knowingly out someone, spread rumors about others, or do anything to undermine another relationship (except #9 above). It’s simply bad form. Again, don’t be that person.

Welcome to my world. We have now entered Scorpio season and the full moon today is in Taurus...hold on tight! I hope, to all those who are sensitive and knowledgeable to the push and pull of the energies the moon and sun can bestow, that you can use this time for evaluation and shedding what's no longer is of service to your life. Stay grounded and remember that our roots have to be strong and deep to allow our branches to grow and reach the heavens. Blessed be.

There are fat girls with fat arms. Fat girls with no ass. Fat girls with no boobs. Fat girls with fat rolls. Fat girls with fat on their backs. Fat girls with chubby cheeks. Brown fat girls. Black fat girls. Fat girls that don’t care about makeup. Fat girls that don’t care about the way they dress. Fat girls with fat everywhere and not just the aesthetically pleasing and accepted parts to have fat. Fat girls with stretch marks on their arms, thighs and boobs. Stop representing fat girls as if we all had an enormous ass and boobs. We need more representation of fat girls that come in all shapes, colors and sizes.

Concerning the Use & Symbolism of Nails
Tumblr media
By Martin Duffy, Three Hands Press
‘Within the witch’s craft many apparently mundane objects are considered to have both magical and mystical virtue, one example being the humble nail. Although some, on basis of morphology, ascribe to nails a phallic virtue, they also have a fixative power, i.e. the ability to bind one thing to another, for good or bane. Nails also partake in no small measure of the powers ascribed to their material, which is normally iron, that heavenly metal linked in the occult mind with blood and the virtues of redness.
When a thing is brought into contact with another it makes an alligation. The basis of alligation is that all things created, whether by the hands of man or nature, are bestowed by the Soul of the World with virtue, which is harnessed by bringing the virtuous object into contact with people/places/objects. Included in this is the binding of two things together in alligation by a nail, so that one might influence the other.
The thing or power being fixed by the nail to person, place or object can be manifold; even celestial powers corresponding to the time at which the nail was struck into its medium can be bound into workings. Herein we understand the basis of hammering various amulets into the lintel above the threshold, such as the apotropaic images of the sun, open hand or ubiquitous horseshoe.
Contrary to popular belief, nails are as protective as the horseshoes they affix. Indeed, Pliny the Elder advised hammering three iron nails, not horseshoes, into the threshold’s lintel to protect the home, likewise Paul Huson in Mastering Witchcraft advocated driving three iron coffin nails into the door, one above and two below in triangular formation. Similarly, protective enclosures are fashioned by striking nails into their four corners and wandering spirits are stopped by hammering nails into their coffins, whilst Romans averted plague and misfortune by driving nails into house walls. Thus is it axiomatic that the number of nails found within a horseshoe affects its potency, the more nails the greater the luck, although some hold true to the custom of fixing the shoe with three nails by means of three blows, alluding to the kinship betwixt nails and the number three.
Horseshoe nails have long been held to possess an array of powers, e.g. the crooked horseshoe nails hung as amulets about the necks of Irish children, and the horseshoe nails driven into the hearth by Teutonic peoples to draw back stolen property. Traditional witch Robert Cochrane recounted that “a horseshoe nail dipped in spring water was considered a prime remedy to use against the ‘little people’ when they grew bothersome”, which relies also on the well-known enmity betwixt the Fair Folk & iron.’ …
‘The most familiar witch tradition concerning nails is their use to pierce the witch’s manikin with benevolent or malevolent intent, yet there is equal tradition in using blackthorn spines, which like nails have an innate warding virtue. Thorns are often used alongside or in place of nails in the magical arts, e.g. in the famed witch-bottle or being tied into the end of the curse cord in place of a rusty nail. We might thus consider them as ‘wooden nails’ fashioned by the green hand of the Faerie Smith, to which Schulke alludes in Viridarium Umbris when he says, “the Thorn is both punitive & binding, the Holy Nail of the Greenwood executing the grim sentence of Crucifixion at once harnessing the forces of binding & torment”; it is in the crucifixion that we discover the nail’s apotheosis.’
