He's happy to hear about how happy his best friend's boyfriend was making him. Buck doesn't deserve anything less. The fact that Eddie knows Tommy? Even better, because yeah Tommy is a little more reserved, but he gushes about Buck to Eddie when they hang out, a quiet look of wonder on his face whenever he talks about his boyfriend. Eddie would grin and agree because Buck is a walking ray of sunshine full of a fun energy that's hard to resist. He gets it. Eddie's just really pleased that both of his friends have been so happy together. Their shift was at an end, and Eddie stopped to greet some people from B shift before heading out to the parking lot with everyone else. Eddie feels his face split into a grin to match the one on Buck's face as he bounds over to where Tommy is leaning against the front bumper of his car, arms crossed but with a small smile. Eddie's smile softens as he sees them greet each other with a hug, Tommy's arms wrapped around Buck's waist, and oh - they're kissing now. That's okay, they're allowed. They make a beautiful couple. And Eddie could see what Buck was talking about - having someone taller than you, stronger than you for once, that must feel exciting and different. Being the one that’s held instead of doing the holding. He definitely has felt a thrill in his stomach a few times when Tommy tossed him around on the mats in his garage. Seeing them kiss isn't new, but this time, Eddie feels a jolt of want run through him as he watches Tommy cup Buck's cheek in his hand. Buck's bashful smile as he presses his face into Tommy's palm makes Eddie's mouth go dry. He wants to make Buck smile like that. He wants Tommy to cup his face with his big, strong hands. Eddie wants that. Fuck. A loud goodbye from Chimney startles Eddie, and he looks away from Buck and Tommy to grab his keys out of his pocket and finally make his way over to his car. His duffel bag is in the passenger seat. His seatbelt is on. The key is in the ignition, but he hasn't turned it yet. In the rearview mirror, Eddie can see Tommy press some more kisses to Buck's mouth before they separate. A few moments later Tommy's car backs out of the parking space, and they're off. Eddie starts his own car and drives home on autopilot. Is it normal to realize you have feelings for your best friend, and his boyfriend, at the same time?

Calvin's parents decide to take a Hawai'ian vacation. And then he hands Buck a clipboard.

And the 118 flinches in horror at the deliberate unleashing of this weapon of mass annoyance, but Tommy is just confused. Until he watches as his boyfriend instantly becomes a despotic fault-finding pain in the ass martinet.

And he realizes that Evan possesses an evil in him that only comes out in the most absurd ways.

And it unlocks a well of fondness and attraction he didn’t even know was possible to achieve.

And I’d pay twice as much for Maddie to get in on this action and they become some sort of Clipboard Buckley Team Rocket of unholy terror. So we can find out that Chim also thinks it’s cute on his very own Buckley.

When Chimney brings his daughter down from the loft where she’s been napping quite happily, Jee-Yun has her hands curled into little fists as she rubs at her tired eyes. Still not quite awake, she’s curled into her father’s embrace, having clearly missed him for the day, but she seems far less grizzly than she had been prior to said naptime so it clearly did her some good. 

“There’s my girl!” Maddie says with no shortage of happiness, that her daughter returns at the sound of her mother’s voice. She gives her a sleepy smile as Maddie plants a kiss on top of her head, gently tickling her tummy while Buck starts collecting stray pieces of half-chewed mango and scattered cheerios from off of the breakfast bar. 

“Did you miss us?” Chimney asks Jee while he and Maddie fawn over her for a moment.  “‘Cause we sure missed you!” He goes on to say, before noticing the drawing of a half-finished fire-engine on the table in front of him.  “Wow! Is this what you did with Uncle Buck today?”

Buck pointedly doesn’t mention the toilet paper incident, or the mini-meltdown a few hours ago, choosing instead to grin as he looks between his adorable niece and her rainbow-scribbles on the page that he’d been coloring alongside just before Maddie and Chim’s arrival.

Love how tumblr has its own folk stories. Yeah the God of Arepo we’ve all heard the story and we all still cry about it. Yeah that one about the woman locked up for centuries finally getting free. That one about the witch who would marry anyone who could get her house key from her cat and it’s revealed she IS the cat after the narrator befriends the cat.

tommy heard the 118 bickering in the back of his helicopter about how much they love each other while risking their lives because of a hunch one of them had and was like i need to be a part of this again immediately. also the idiot who thought the motto „who cares“ would be a good fit for our profession has charmed me in ways i haven’t felt in years. i should start making mouth static noises as some sort of mating ritual and the rest is history
