Words cant begin to express my gratitude with how Sunday's events worked out for me. This by far was the best birthday because I got to spend it surrounded by such intelligent and insightful people who inspire us. Ian Somerhalder was one of these people and as always he made our encounter memorable. I have so much to tell, and so many more photos to post like my pics with the wonderful RYOT guys, I'll get to it all tomorrow, but for now here is one of the huge reasons why I will count my birthday as memorable. 

True Dobrevics Will Read and Retweet

Dear #NinaDobrev fans and #TVDFamily you know the feeling of when you try to bite your tongue back and keep silent but the more you see things the more tempted you are to speak and then next thing you know it's coming out? Well consider that one of those moments. I am absolutely repulsed with the way some fans and individuals are acting towards Nina saying how shes changed. News-flash for you guys of course shes changed, everyone changes over the years. When she first started VD she was still young and new to things, but she's twenty four now and embracing the woman that she is now. She knows what she wants and who she is and you should all accept it because its her life NOT yours. I she wants to party with friends let her, if shes going to a lot of events and hanging out with other celebrities let her, she deserves to be in the limelight too. The fact that there are fans actually tweeting her friends and harassing them is borderline pathetic. Derek Hough is getting harassed and taunted at and Mark Ballas is also getting the brunt of it with fans tweeting him. These are people guys. We do NOT control who Nina hangs out with, who she is friends with and especially who she dates. Stop sending hate, stop calling people ugly. Yes, yes I love Ian and I loved them together, but its not our lives guys so stop saying so and so is hotter than the other, how would you feel if someone said yeah you're okay to look at but this person is way better? Sucks right? We do not have the right to be so invested in two people. The only couple I'm invested in is Damon and Elena, we have the right to make comments about them, because they aren't real. We can get mad at them. We can call Elena indecisive and critique her relationships, and we can call her a bitch when she tells Damon "maybe that's the problem" because she is a CHARACTER but calling Nina a bitch no, no thats not right, that's sad. You complain about how she doesn't notice fans? Well it's because of these certain fans that she hangs back, I mean who would want to read that horrible stuff. I see it and I feel the urge to punch someone in the face so how do you think she feels? You DO NOT have the right to call yourself a true fan of the show if you're hating on someone. You DO NOT have the right to say you love Ian when you're speaking ill of his cast member and someone he cares about, vice versa. You DO NOT have the right to act like a little brat because honestly it's only making you look like an idiot. If you want our idols to see us more I suggest doing this Growing up and if you can't do that then shut up because you're screwing it up for the rest of us who actually are the true and loyal fans. Rant over.....

My Tom Welling Encounter Still Causes Me To Grin

I know that it's been over a couple of years since this happened but considering the fact that Tom Welling finally made an appearance and fan stories are going around it only ended up making me think of my own, and for those who haven't read it here it is.

So I can honestly say that I am still in a daze after meeting Tom Welling. I was standing for hours on end waiting on this man. Anyways I was right in the front at the end of the carpet around the baricades. Tom was the last one down the carpet, because of all the interviews that he was doing, and once he made his way out it became crazy people were screaming for him, but since he was last he was quickly rushed in. Seeing this I thought its not going to happen you're not going to meet him it's not meant to happen, because I have tried meeting him countless amounts of times even going to Vancouver only to be allowed to watch between the bushes, but all my friends told me not to lose hope (of course it's very hard not to). Next thing I know after an hour or so the celeberities are coming out the doors and heading to their SUV''s EVERYONE was stopping to sign and I'm like Tom probably wont be able to especially if hes brought out last....which he was.  Next thing I know there he is people begin to scream again and hes just giving this beautiful smile he goes over to the far corner and starts signing and taking pictures, hes there for a while and I'm thinking he's going to be rushed out now, but my friends didnt give up on me once Tom looked over they all shouted "Tom your biggest fan right here" and they all pointed to me, next thing I know Tom is looking right at me as he makes his way over and smiles "So you're my biggest fan"' he says pulling me into a hug (i'm basically in cloud nine right now" ) "ya I've been a fan since the pilot" then my friend goes "she flew to Vancouver to see you"....he looks over at me (eye contact from him wow) "oh ya you did?" "ya but security wouldnt let me go over I had to stand behind bushes" he then gives me this music to my ears laugh and goes "yeah they can be tough sometimes." so then I ask him if he can sign for me and of course he does he asks me for my name and writes Ashley! and underneath it says Tom Welling. I then had the courage to ask him if I could take a picture with him, and he goes "Sure! you are my biggest fan after all" so I stood on the baricade to get a bit of more height I put my arm around him and he leans over we are literally CHEEK to CHEEK with each other after the picutre he hugs me again and thanks me for being such a good fan, and then I was able to watch him for a bit before I left to call my mom freaking out. I've been a fan of him since the start of Smallville so meeting him was such a huge deal for me I even started crying happy tears on the phone to my mom I still cant beleive I finally met him....thank you to all my friends who helped make this dream FINALLY come true. 

Reading this now still causes the stupidest of smiles to appear on my face, honestly Tom thank you for being a class act gentleman and causing this girl to grin like a fool every time she recalls this encounter.

I can't believe that it's already been more than a week since I got back from my trip from ATL and still I find myself smiling about my encounters that I had. Not many people can say that they spent their days and nights with The Originals but I have that pleasure. I ended up getting to see a scene filmed between Daniel and Joseph and can I also state that I got to hear Joseph growl as Klaus and good lord is all I can say because WOW.

There were a good amount of people watching them film and from what my friend had shared with me it was the usual crowd of locals. I had considered myself lucky enough to actually be in the casts presence and figured two good looking men such as Joseph and Daniel would end up getting mobbed so I told myself not to be disappointed if I didn't end up getting them. After Joseph was done for the night he came straight over to the fans, I'm shocked I didn't keel over from the sound of his accent. Like I had predicted women practically pounced on him, and I stayed lingering in the back until getting the courage to finally push my way through, thanks to encouragement from my very good friend. FINALLY it was my turn and he greeted me with this gorgeous smile as I put out my book for him to sign. It's a Mystic Fall's adventure book pictures with the cast and he immediately recognized it from upfront's, we shared a good laugh because I ended up saying how he didn't look at the camera because an autograph hound was getting ready to throw a picture in his face. He pretty much did the Klaus "eye roll" and said how New York had been completely chaotic. Once we took the picture I thanked him and about died when he said "you're quite welcome sweetheart."

Fast forward later into the night Daniel has finally finished his scene and we were told they were packing up so we dashed like mad women hoping to catch him. Words can't express the sight that beheld us watching Daniel Gillies stroll up the sidewalk towards us sporting his Elijah suit, oh yes he was in the suit. It was getting late he kept saying how he had to leave, but I was able to slip in. Soon as he saw my book he pointed at the picture "hey that's us" he literally was looking at the two pictures "that's New York" to which I replied hell yeah it is upfront's. He ended up putting his arm around me "you're so little" accent will be the death of me. After the picture was taken I was still leaning into his chest and I said "I could fall asleep on you" to which he replied with "oh you.....you could fall asleep watching my performance." 

No words can begin to explain how truly grateful I am to these men, if I could personally write them a letter on twitter and know they'd actually get the chance to read it I would, because they are the reason for why I'm smiling like an idiot right now. The encounter may have been short, but the memories I had will last.

Thank you Daniel Gillies for having the similarities of Elijah and being a moral and charming man and thank you Joseph for not being like Klaus and growling at us to go away, both of you men are true gentleman and I can't wait to support the show!

I'm still trying to get over my high now that I've returned from Atlanta but each time I recall a memory I'm back to grinning like a complete and total idiot again. As you know for the longest time I had been trying to catch Ian's attention to see the book that I had made, he ended up seeing it before at the con but he was rushed and mind you I was almost on my death bed sporting a lovely fever, but this time I really ended up having the chance to show him and more so thank him so that he'd know how much each and every encounter I've had with him meant to me. Let me tell you when Ian is standing in front of you it's hard to form sentences or remember things such as how old your sibling is which makes me grateful that I had just in-case written a letter to him which I gave him and he put in his back pants pocket. 

I've had many Ian encounters but this by far was probably my most favorite because my friends and I literally had him all to ourselves and he wasn't being rushed. We had come across them filming and waited, waited and waited until they were done. As he was leaving my friend asked if he'd come over to which he responded "yeah I'm coming to you guys" now we were across the street in a parking lot so we figured he'd just walk over, but instead he hopped into the van which by the way had a couple of crew members and then proceeded to direct them over to us. Trying to remember to remain calm the van pulled up and the woman driving kept asking "are you ready for him....are you ready, here he comes" and then boom we're greeted to his drop dead gorgeous face and everything else you can add. 

This man was by far so charming, he knows how to win hearts, honestly he does. He looked over each picture of us in my book signed it and inscribed it for me and then we took a picture, to which resulted in him saying to take another, but really squeeze in this time. Once it was my friends turn to fawn over him I ended up getting my camera deciding to just for the hell of it see if I could get a shout out. After telling him that my sister would kill me if I ignored such a chance he said "well we can't have that...I love you" so as I got ready to press record he told me the other way because the light was better. I'm not going to post the video because it's personal, and means everything that he took the time to do it for my sister, but I will say he ended up kissing my camera and I have yet to wipe the lenses because his lip imprints are still there.

You would think that hot guys are douche bags especially those who are as popular and well known as Ian, but he proves the statement wrong, because he honestly is a genuine and sincere sweetheart and it meant everything to me that he took the time to do this. Granted I know you aren't reading this, but still it needs to be said, thank you Ian, literally for everything.

I consider myself more than blessed that I was able to have these encounters with these beautiful people, no words can come close to explaining how thankful I am to all of these people.

I know there's absolutely know way that they will see this, but honestly from the bottom of my heart and all of the others fans who've encountered them it means the world to us that you guys take the time. Even if the encounter lasts for five seconds it's something we will always carry with you, so thank you. 

Cory Monteith was mainly the reason for why I wanted to get myself a flip camera because every video that he ended up making was always entertaining. When I ended up getting my flip I only found it fitting for him to be the first video and I couldn't help but shout out my excitement as the cart went by, what I love is the fact that even as it continues to drive away you still see him smiling. Later that night I actually ended up getting him to sign my flip and he thought it to be the coolest thing telling me how I was the first person to ask him to sign something like that. 

I was debating on posting this video, but I decided to post it because this just goes to prove what a humble, down to earth, charming goofball Cory was. Fame never changed him he always remained the same man we've all been greeted to.

I ended up asking Cory if he could wish my younger sister a happy birthday when he saw my flip his face lit up and asked if he could film it, I of course said yes, thank you Cory for this you made my sisters day.

This weekend I had the pleasure of meeting Ian Somerhalder again, this was my first photo-op shot with him and I found it to be very memorable because this just shows what a class act gentleman he is. As we were getting ready to take the picture he ended up saying wait a second and proceeded to brush a piece of my bangs away from my eyes he then stroked my cheek for a few seconds until pulling me into him. What I like about this picture is the fact that there is a little smile pulling at his lips, it's not the usual smirk that he tends to sport.

I love this picture not just because of the arm porn but also the fact that I'm pressed so close to him, I'm looking forward to showing my grandma this because each time she sees my pictures with him she insists he's my boyfriend so it'll be amusing to see her reaction to this one.

I ended up having the pleasure of getting to see Ian this weekend and as always he was charming as ever. I did two photo op's this time round so when it came to the second one this is what happened

Me: Holy shit I don't know what to do

Ian then proceeds to give me the signature Damon smirk

Ian: Leave it to me, come closer and look into my eyes

How can one say no to that?

Ian: Now smile for me beautiful 

After the photo- op he kissed me on the cheek and as security gave me the boot he kissed my hand as I began to leave.
