Hey! If we credit you, are you cool with us drawing your OCS interacting with our own? If not, it's all cool!
Sure, I don't mind OC interactions, credit is appreciated and feel free to tag me.
If y'all have any questions about what's cool/not cool, feel free to ask.

Bobbit cat tutorial! I put this together for my lovely KS folks a couple years ago and now, I am sharing this process with all of you!
I am going to try and be more active over there again, I was on a roll for a bit there and forgot about it.

I swear I remember you saying at one point that you had synesthesia, and talked about some of your experiences with it, am I imagining that?
Dang you've been around since my early tumblr days lol. I do have it, it's interesting, and a lot of my art ends up influenced by it.

Is it alright if I make a homebrew D&D monster based of the tiger illustration you just posted? It'd be for a home game so only shared with a couple people, no money involved and obviously full credit with the illustration. It's a super gorgeous piece and your designs are awesome.
Sure, go for it.

I still enjoy this one from a couple years back. Kind of feeling like I want to do another strange tiger piece soon.

For Jarovin: midnight, failure, and alone
Midnight - he roams the halls of North Cliff fairly regularly. Not out of anxiousness or worry, but to check up on things here and there.
Failure - I don't think this is something he believes in.
Alone - I'm not sure he's ever been alone, in the truest sense. But he enjoys what solitude he can achieve and revels in small joys.

failure: What's your OC's greatest failure? Have they been able to move past it? Does anyone else know about it? (hons)
Greatest - he fails to respect the rule(s) of companionship and nearly kills Yahndrall. Although deliberate, he doesn't really move beyond it. Jeih is the only one to figure it out.

Opt yourself out of AI scraping.
Like many sites, Tumblr is opting us in to AI scraping instead of opting us out by default, and packaging it like a kindness. We're not calories to consume. You can opt yourself out in blog settings (per blog you use).

secret: What's one secret your OC never wants anyone to know about them? (for Ary?)
He would never want anyone to know how much the partial bonds affect him.

Hello, big fan of your art since the DA days! Hope you're doing well!
You've mentioned how Ary's human form is short/small for an indomitable will (for unclear reasons), but does this smallness translate to his bipedal lock form too?
Incidentally, do you have a set height/size chart for your locks in biped lock form? Hons always seems huge, Jeih taller than Ary but thinner...
(your clothing designs for them are also always top notch, wow!)
Anyways, have a good day!
That's really cool! I'm doing good, lots of stuff going on per usual.
Ary's shorter in his Lockian forms too. North Cliff is mostly frequented by lesser wills, only a few greater wills regularly turn up there and they all manifest larger forms, so. He's shorter by both standards.
I don't have a recent size chart, I should probably make one.

Is there any website or document where we can read Lock worldbuilding and lore? Reading things abt Jeih, Ary, Hons and Ceras dynamics is just so gd interesting i need mORE
I've started shifting all that stuff to Patreon tbh. I'll still post random tidbits here, but the in-depth stuff will mostly be over there.

You can email me at [email protected]. I still have a few books left. And a few pins too, actually.

Taking the question from a comment: "So that means the universe started with a set number of locks that decreases every time 2 or more falls in Love & Bond?"
It started with a number that fluctuates for reasons that are spoilersss.
Locks don't fall in love, they don't typically have great affinity for each other. There's no events or courtship rituals or anything that proceeds the onset of bonded companionship, it happens spontaneously and involuntarily and they're left to just figure it out.

Does the toothpaste colored lock still exist… Ceras I think their name was?
Yep. Both Shoon (Soloxis) and Ceras are still around.

Thanks so much for the kind words, I'm glad you enjoy them. :) Most of my worldbuilding ends up on Patreon these days.
Locks don't reproduce, they're not physical entities. Bonded companions actually do the opposite and merge into a single entity. It doesn't involve physical bodies. Jihrin is the descendant of Jeihirin (Jeih) and Kyrin, so she's the culmination of those two entities repatterned into someone new. So a daughter in a way, but not so much in traditional fashion.
The folks studying the Locks call the process deproduction.
