Gabriel LITERALLY can't lose at this point

Gabriel has ALL the miraculous. (Besides ladybug and cat.) He can't lose. There is no possible way Gabriel can't defeat these teenagers. He HAS THE FUCKING ROOSTER MIRACULOUS.

ANY. POWER. THEY. IMAGINE.

ANY.

FUCKING.

POWER.

It is PHYSICALLY impossible for him to lose. I cannot stress this enough, HE HAS THE ROOSTER MIRACULOUS. He doesn't even NEED all the others. The rooster can LITERALLY give him any power. The only limit is his IMAGINATION.

The show tries to make Gabriel out to be some evil, serious threat, but it will be IMPOSSIBLE for anyone EVER to take him seriously if he somehow manages to fuck up this GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY.

It has already been shown in past episodes how incompetent and stupid Gabriel can be, so there is not a doubt in my mind that he will somehow lose all the miraculous back to our 'heroes' and be defeated.

As someone who is drawn more to the villain/antagonist characters, (if they're done properly, that is. Gabriel is an absolute joke and an insult to villains) I can't enjoy his 'victory' that much because I know it won't last long. He'll somehow find a way to have the main characters get the miraculous back and then have them eventually take the butterfly and peacock away from him.

Season 5 won't even be enjoyable for me to watch (but I'm going to watch it anyway because I love complaining about kids cartoons) because I know Gabriel will fuck up.

I swear to God if I watch season five when it airs and fucking Gabriel akumatizes ANOTHER FILLER villain who won't impact the story in any way I'm going to scream. He literally has SO many chances to win.

He has the rooster AND the bunny miraculous. Time travel and the ability to have ANY power. How can he lose???? He can go back in time to fix the peacock miraculous before his wife uses it (or something, I don't know. This show is so annoying I can't even remember half the 'important' stuff they throw at us because I'm too busy watching uninteresting characters no one cares about getting their feelings hurt.) He can back in time and see who master fu meets with and who he gives miraculous to.

I'm calling it right now, season 5 is going to be dog shit. Absolute DOG SHIT. But who knows, maybe I'm wrong, maybe the writers will somehow turn it around. Probably not, though.

You’d think Paris would be the nicest city, right?

If people know Hawkmoth/Shadowmoth akumatize anyone who’s feeling negative emotions, why is everyone in Paris such assholes? 

Besides Chloe, who Thomas makes an asshole because he doesn’t like her, you’d think the people who live in Paris would try to be nice to each other. In The Mime, Chris intentionally sabotages Fred, and Chris actually seemed surprised when Fred got turned into the mime? Does no one in f^cking Paris understand that if they’re jerks to someone, it will almost 100% come back to bite them in the ass? 

Ephemeral was an underwhelming mess.

Spoiler Warning for Ephemeral

Yesterday, I sat at my computer for half an hour and I watched ephemeral because I saw on Instagram that Adrian got akumatized. Now, I’ve been waiting for Adrian or Marinette to be akumatized for so long, so I was understandable excited. 

Until I actually watched the episode.

First, Adrian doesn’t get akumatized until like twenty minutes in of a half an hour episode. Four seasons in and Adrian’s akumatization was the most disappointing sh!t I’ve seen in my life. It was just that stupid Chat Blanc scene just in a slightly different way.

Second, the reveal. Jesus Christ, the reveal. I’ve said this before about another episode, but the reveal scene here simply shows Adrian’s love for literally whoever is under the ladybug mask. Adrian states, “I just found out one of my closest friends is the person I love and admire most.” Closest FRIEND. He didn’t have ANY feelings for Marinette until she turned out to be ladybug.

Third, Shadowmoth. You expect me to believe that Gabriel can’t hear Adrian’s loud a$s “PLAGG, CLAWS OUT.” But the moment Adrian says m’lady Gabriel knows it’s him? When the show writers make Adrian’s personally suddenly change into Chat Noir, they could’ve done something with that. THEY COULD’VE MADE ADRIAN DO SOMETHING CHAT NOIR-LIKE IN FRONT OF GABRIEL. That would’ve been so SO much better. But instead, we get Adrian simply saying m’lady once, for Gabriel to know. 

Fourth, Adrian’s sudden shift in personality. Just because Adrian now knows that ladybug knows who he is, doesn’t mean he should start making cat jokes and acting more like Chat Noir. You could argue that he could remember in that one episode when they both find out that the other might be students at the school, and I will admit that’s a valid point, but they don’t truly know. Adrian could be hoping Ladybug is in his class and hopes to get her attention with his cat jokes, but he still doesn’t even know 100% if ladybug is there. And again, the Gabriel being Shadowmoth reveal SHOULD’VE been Adrian acting like Chat Noir at home and not FU-KING MLADY but whatever. 

Lastly, Marinette. Marinette had a whole plan set up for this. She gets Chat Noir to tell her his identity, Luka goes back so he remembers and she forgets. Simple enough, right? No way it could mess up, right? Wrong. Marinette let herself get distracted from the plan. She could’ve let Luka use his second chance so they could get master whatever the fu-k his name is. Honestly, her whole plan was pretty jerky. Tricking Chat Noir, who’s wanted to share their identities for probably the entire show, into telling her who he is, then going back in time so everyone forgets all about it. Then, they continue to show us how Marinette doesn’t like Chat Noir. Showing her mixing up Adrian and Chat Noir. Her actually saying she doesn’t like Chat Noir. God, the people creating this show just love showing us how bad the Adrianette, Marichat, Ladrian, and Ladynoir ship are, but for some reason loves shoving them down our throats even after showing us how much better Lukanette or Adrigami is. 

Adrien deserved more screen time.

(And before anyone calls me biased because of my obvious hatred for Marinette, just know I hate ALL miraculous characters equally. I’m just pointing out the obvious. )

It’s no suprise that Marinette, who the creators obviously prefer, and it shows, has more screen time than Alya, Nino, Luka, etc, but what I don’t understand is why Adrien isn’t focused on as much. 

Actually, I do get it. Why would anyone want to see episodes focusing on Adrien dealing with his abusive father, his life as a famous model, being separated from the public besides small hours at school/after school activities(fencing,) being the son of f-cking shadowmoth? Honestly, I’m so much more content with the fact that our main character has a loving family, many friends, and a talented designer. I love it when my main character has a perfect life and yet they get so much forced perfectly planned out drama that happens to them. 

Can you sense the sarcasm.

Instead of episodes showcasing Marionette's stalker-ish and obsessive behaviors and showing how non toxic lukanette is, (yet CONTINUOUSLY SHOVING Adrienette down our throats.) do something with Adrien. Make him have an actual nice moment with his father, unlike that one minute clip of him and his father playing piano. Maybe show him getting over ladybug, (and since Adrienette is endgame) and maybe starting to fall for Marinette or if we’re still going with that Adrigami plot the writers don’t give two shits about, Kagami.

Show me his STRUGGLES, show me things about his life so I can CARE ABOUT HIM. Show me how he COPES with an abusive father, a supposedly dead mother, loving someone who loves someone else!??! All we know so far about him is he’s the ‘sad rich boy’ that doesn’t have a good relationship with his father, his mother is gone, and he’s just wants to make his parents happy. I want to care about Adrien, I want to hate him slightly less than I hate all the others, but I need a reason to. And right now, I wasn’t given any.

Reasons why I hate Marinette

Marinette is a fan-favorite among many, so I’m going to tell the fandom why I hate her. curse words censored for the young people of the fan base

1. She is, very clearly, a stalker.  I’m tired of people just not getting that. She has willingly stolen Adrien’s phone, knows his schedule for the next three years, used trash bins to watch him in his own home, and gets overly offended when anther girls comes to close to him. It’s ridiculous to see people defending her with “She’s a teenager!” or “She just loves him a lot!” because that is stupid reasoning. You can’t defend her stalker behavior towards Adrien by saying shes only a teen, because name one teenager in real life that you’ve seen whose done this. And before someone says that it’s just a tv show so everything is just exaggerated and her behavior is supposed to be played off for laughs, which would be fine, if what she does is funny. Watching someone in their own home because someone else is with them isn’t funny. Kissing something that looks to be statue of your crush is creepy. Using your super-hero identity to humiliate a girl who shows interest in your crush is awful, even if that girl is hated by most of the fandom. If the genders were reversed, and Adrien/a gender bent Marinette watched Marinette/ a gender bent Adrien, the show would be cancelled instantly.

2. She’s honestly a jerk sometimes. I’ve said this once before, and I’ll say it again, she was a b!tch to Kagami in Ikari Gozen. She intentionally sabotaged Kagami and her’s chances to win at the friendship treasure hunt, and she talked bad about Kagami behind her back to Alya. Why did she sabotage their chances? Because Marinette can’t understand that other people are allowed to have a crush on Adrien. Marinette was worried that if they won, Adrien would think Kagami did all the work and pay attention to only Kagami. Which was f**king idiotic because if Marinette knows so much about Adrien, she should’ve known that Adrien isn’t a d*ck and wouldn’t do things like that.  I said this in reason one, but I’m going to go more into it. She used her Ladybug identity to humiliate Lila. She could’ve ignored it, being the bigger person and let Lila lie. She could’ve kept to herself, being the only one who knew Lila was lying until sometime in the future everyone else figured it out. Honestly, she could’ve just laughed to herself any time Lila brought up being friends with Ladybug, and she could’ve, again, been the bigger person. Marinette could’ve just ignored Lila, she could’ve tuned her out, and just wait for her lies to tumble out of control and to blow up in her face. But, Marinette humiliated her in front of her crush. I know it’s Lila, and about 95% of the fan base hates her, but that’s a really sh*tty thing to do, no matter who it is.

3. People got mad at CHLOE for causing akumatizations, but no one seems to care how many Marinette/Ladybug caused.  If you hate Chloe, I’ve seen that a common reason is how many akumatizations she’s caused. But everyone seems to forget that Marinette has caused some herself. Volpina, Gamer, WereDad, Riposte, Backwarder, Dark Owl, Queen Wasp, Animaestro, Santa Claws, Christmaster, Antibug and Evillustrator to name a few. Though, in her defense (wow never said that before) in Evillustrator, it was mainly Chloe who got Nathaniel angry, though Marinette did help make it worse by tricking him. That’s 12, 11 if you don’t count Evillustrator, akumatizations by Marinette. I would list all the people Chloe akumatized, but I don’t really have the time for that, so I did research and found out Chloe caused 14. Basically, Marinette caused two less than Chloe. Before anyone insults me, calling me stupid because “Marinette didn’t mean to cause those akumatizations! Chloe meant them all!” An akumatization is an akumatization no matter what. It doesn’t matter if it was on accident, on purpose, or just a misunderstanding, she still caused them.

4. Puppeteer 2 Yeah, that episode gets it’s own section. I know people must be tired of the Puppeteer 2 slander, but I have to mention it in my reasons. The episode is just.... Jesus Christ. It’s easily the worst episode of Mlb for me. I hate it more than pretty much everything else I hate. First, we all know it’s wrong to kiss a statue of your crush? Right? We get that? Good. So basically, Marinette sees a statue of Adrien, and like any normal person with a normal, non-stalker crush on someone, goes to kiss it, and pockets one of his hairs. Again, things in kids shows are obviously extra exaggerated for comedic purposes, but F**KING H*LL THAT WASN’T EVEN FUNNY??? I get cringy things tend to be extra cringe in shows like this, just so everyone can laugh about how awkward it is, but does no one think this is crossing many lines? I saw someone on reddit say “Marinette kissed him and Adrien didn’t pull back!” Well yeah. He was in shock. Think of it in Adrien’s point of view. You’re about to do a prank on your good friend Marinette by pretending to be a wax statue, and when she sees you, she starts gushing about you, plucking a piece of your hair off your scalp, stuffing it in her pocket, then going in to kiss you. Your simple prank took a major turn, and know you stand there, still in shock that Marinette would act like this. I would add more to that, but I can’t re-watch that scene to see what else happens or else I’ll cringe so hard I’ll never be able to watch that ep again for a month.

5. Conclusion. Marinette has problems. You can disagree with me all you want, but it’s true. You can still like Marinette, I don’t give a sh*t, really. But just acknowledge that she has problems. You can still love hr, relate to her, anything. Just don’t make her seem like the perfect Goddess of a person when she really isn’t.
