the funniest dynamc between my boyfriend and i is the chef/baker divide runs so deep. experimentally my boyfriend is a genius with figuring out what flavor profiles will not just taste good together but also will be enjoyed by the specific audience he is cooking for. a recipe is not a guidebook so much as a suggestion and he will frankenstein ideas together to get exactly what he wants to happen. he also didnt know that sugar will not work properly if you dont mix it with the wet ingredients in banana bread and when i asked 'why didnt you do it in the order of the recipe' he said 'i didnt really think it mattered'. autistically i exploded his head in my mind

After working on them for years, I finally have settled on the final starter evos for my Okeno dex! Yipee! I decided to try making full design sheets for them. It's such a fun exercise to really hone in on the details and making sure the design works from different perspectives. Getting the details to be all "on-model" throughout them is also very rewarding, I hope I did a good enough job! ✨ Monkey Wrench OC - BLIXIE ✨ Been picking away at this gal for a couple of weeks in my sparetime and she's finally ready to be shown to the world!

Her name is Blix/Blixie and she's inspired by a blanket octopus (gorgeous creatures btw pls look them up) I wouldn't say she's the same specie as Shrike, I have no idea, I just imagine her being a sub-specie or whatever. My initial thought was "wow, blanket octopus is so pretty imma gonna make an oc inspired by that and she's gonna have wings and it's gonna be ✨COOL✨"

The 'personality collage' is there to give a loose idea of who she is as a character. She's chaotic good, a gadget gal, talkative, tough, silly, considerate and has an immature and naughty kind of humor.
