It's been a while but I wanted to share news of my latest book!
Tales From St Jude's
I am super proud to announce that my latest book is now available. In a break from romance novels, this is a collection of 23 short stories that have been written over the last year, most of them posted on my Patreon. The cover art was created by the incredibly talented @descaladumidera.
Most importantly though, all profits from sales of this book will be donated to help fund a family friend's treatment for a rare medical condition.

The one and only @same-side created an absolute masterpiece for the @reed900reversebigbang and I had the honour of writing a story based on their ideas.
Nines gets to watch as Branston do everything in his power to get a new, better, human partner. The GV200 was old but still functional, maybe even deviant. At long last, Branston manages to get rid of the GV200 but Nines is uncertain whether he really had to be left behind or if he'd been sold to Zlatko for modification and selling.

So There Was This Raccoon...
I’m part of a very special Discord server where we have a weekly prompt challenge. This week, my prompt was: so there was this raccoon. Naturally, this could only be a Reed900 prompt fill.
So There Was This Raccoon
Late night treks out into the city weren’t all that unusual. Given that Gavin had issues sleeping and preferred to get out of the house when there was zero hope of even relaxing in bed. There was one difference though, he was no longer alone. Nines watched him passively as he grabbed his hoodie and shoes, stomping down the heel of one before pulling it off his foot with a huff and trying again.
“You coming?” Gavin threw over his shoulder, keys jingling in his hands. There was too much pent up energy thrumming through him and nothing could dissipate it. Not even sex. He and Nines had tried that early on and while it was great, Gavin appreciated a skilful lover and a pleasantly spent few hours, he just wasn’t the kind to fall asleep after sex, no matter how mind-blowing.
Wordlessly, Nines followed. They stalked out onto the street, Gavin taking turns down roads on a whim, not caring about the destination or about their surroundings. The itch to keep moving was all that drove him and Nines’ silent company was rather welcome. He tripped over some rubbish and kicked it in frustration.
“Fuck, the world is turning to shit,” he spat.
Finally, Nines broke his silence, “The world is a dumpster that we can only enjoy by being raccoons who dive in and scavenge for scraps of treasure.”
That had Gavin huffing out a small laugh and turning to Nines with a smirk.
“Fancy yourself a bit of a philosopher, huh?” However, he cast a thoughtful look around. “Though when you put it like that, I think I found a raccoon.”
Nines’ LED turned yellow as he scanned the area and frowned. There were no raccoons in the area. However, Gavin was talking.
“At least, I hope so. I mean, I feel like I’ve found my raccoon.”
“Gavin, there are no raccoons in the area.” Nines’ statement was met with a flat look of disapproval and it seemed that Gavin might actually be quiet. Instead, he shook his head and took a breath.
“Anyway. So there was this raccoon, a curious creature. More white and black with only hints of grey. Quite a young thing once you got beyond surface looks.” Nines tilted his head to the side as he listened to Gavin, trying to keep up with his thought process. As much as Nines was the culmination of technology, there were some things about humans that still eluded him. “This raccoon, he sure as shit dove deep into the dumpster, put out the fire while he was at it in order to scrape what he saw as worthy from the bottom.”
“I don’t understand,” Nines said.
Finally, Gavin turned to face Nines and reached up to cup his cheek, bringing them closer together. The tips of their noses brushed, Nines’ warmer than Gavin’s thanks to the chill in the air.
“I’m trying to say thanks, for being my raccoon. For seeing something in me. Something more than just seeing your dick in me for a fling.”
LED yellow, Nines finally understood. He reached up and covered Gavin’s hand with his. “Sometimes it feels like I didn’t pull you up but rather, I crawled into the dumpster and settled down alongside you. And there’s nowhere else I’d rather be.”
