Apex Legends Season 6 Patch Notes Review

In this post I will give you my Apex Legends Season 6 Patch Notes Review. I will cover the important areas of the patch notes in my own words! Check out the official patch notes on the EA website. MAP UPDATE: WORLD’S EDGE UPDATE Crypto and Mirage overlooking World's Edge A few changes to the map, nothing too crazy to comment on. This is one thing I think EA does well when it comes to apex legends, they always make sure to switch up the map each season and change it so we aren't too burnt out to continue playing. NEW SEASON 6 LEGEND: RAMPART New Legend : Rampart holding her minigun So here are my first thoughts on Rampart. Passive: Modded Loader Modded Loader seems like it could be pretty decent actually. I think it'll definitely help in the early game when all you can find is an L-Star since it improves the cooling of that (which means less overheating!!) and I think people who play her might actually run the Spitfire a lot more. I don't know how big of an effect it will have on what gun she chooses though, since there might still be better options. Tactical: Amped Cover Amped Cover basically allows her to make a wall which you can crouch behind to avoid taking damage and it blocks incoming shots and amps outgoing shots, meaning you can get free shots on people without them being able to hit you back. Let's Talk Valorant - KillJoy First Impressions

KillJoy is actually INSANE. Actually my new favorite agent. When you pair her with a Cypher, your defensive capabilities become impeccable! What is “Let’s Talk Valorant” ? Let’s talk Valorant is basically like a “let’s play” in text format. Basically it takes us back to old school blogging, so in these segments you will get stories of the game based on my experience, events that happened, and really just rants based on the topic picked. It gives us a place to discuss about issues within the game or good things within the game as well! I want these posts to provide more discussion compared to a guide or tips & tricks post! These posts will also be a lot shorter and really just get to the point, hope you enjoy! Leave a comment on your thoughts! KillJoy First Impressions Since KillJoy was released I've seen a lot of her gameplay and I've experienced her as an agent on my own and I can honestly say most of her abilities are very good and will definitely be apart of the meta however one of her abilities is super underwhelming in my opinion.  turret, lockdown Her ability "Nanoswarm" aka her molly is REALLY REALLY good if positioned correctly however she is much like Cypher in the regards that a lot of her abilities are only extremely useful on defense or from stopping flanks on offense her Molly is extremely strong and relatively hard to detect. Let's Talk Apex Legends #1 - Caustic is SO Good S5

Caustic is actually AMAZING in Season 5. His ability to hold buildings in early to mid game and his late game presence make him a THREAT! He shuts down other more meta legends such as Crypto and Revenant! Let's talk about it. What is “Let’s Talk Apex Legends” ? Let’s talk apex legends is basically like a “let’s play” in text format. Why caustic is so good in season 5 Caustic, in my honest opinion, is easily in my top 3 legends for season 5. I can’t stress how much I LOVE having a caustic on my team or playing him myself especially in ranked. His ability to lock down a building towards end game with his traps or the ability to halt revenant pushes is unmatched. I think the revenant hard push meta is really what put him back on the map. Of course his old update to not have his gas slow his teammates down was huge too. It’s funny, I have a friend who played caustic pre buff so much and I absolutely hated it. Read the full article

How to play PHOENIX in Riot Games FPS Valorant

Immediately after jumping into my first game of Riot Games FPS Valorant, days ago, I knew I wanted to learn how to play Phoenix efficiently. His playstyle, his look, his skillset, I knew he would be a perfect match for me! I'm going to lay it all out and let you know what his skills are, what they do and how I use them to my advantage each and every game!

What is Valorant ?

Valorant is an interesting game. It is an first person shooter from Riot Games. It takes aspects from two very popular games, Valves' CS:GO & Blizzards' Overwatch. Something unique that Valorant does, that no other FPS has done, is combine insane gun skill favoring aim while including unique abilities that allow each agent to be played how you want to play them.

What are abilities ?

Abilities in Valorant are basically powers that each agent has. Each agent will have 4 unique abilites. Below I will list the abilities available to each agent : One ultimate ability - This powerful ability requires multiple charges to use that are earned from kills or completing objectives (like defusing the bomb). It might take three rounds or more before you have enough charges to use yours.One signature ability - This ability is automatically usable each round. How many times and how often you can use it varies between characters.Two purchasable abilities - Each character has two extra abilities that require charges bought from the store at the beginning of a round. Think of them like grenades in Counter-Strike, an optional item that gives you some extra utility in combat. The ability information above was best described in the PC Gamer Blog. They have a great rundown describing exactly what abilities each agent has.

How to play Phoenix ?

What are his abilities? Like every other agent, phoenix has 4 abilities and they are : Blaze - Summon a wall of fire that blocks vision and hurts anyone passing through it. The wall can also be bent when casting.Curveball - Throw a fireball that curves around corners and blinds anyone in the vicinity. (basically a flashbang)Signature: Hot Hands - Throws a fireball that covers a small area in flames after a short wait or when it hits the ground. These flames damage your enemies but heal you.Ultimate: Run it back - Marks your current location and starts a short timer. When the timer expires, or if you die, you respawn at the marked location with full health. How should I use them ? Now that we know WHAT the abilities are, lets learn HOW to use them in gameplay to help win you more games! Ability - Blaze Use this ability to stop enemy pushes or be sneaky about getting yourself into position. Just because you put up this wall doesn't mean someone won't "Stewie2k" through it. (jump through or push through it) IT also means there's the opportunity for you to push through it and surprise the enemy as well. KEEP IN MIND YOU CAN HEAL YOURSELF WITH THIS AS WELL, JUST STAND IN THE FLAMES. Ability - Curveball This is quite literally a flashbang. Very useful to get the enemy out of position. PLEASE call out to your team when you're going to use this…it will blind EVERYONE! Signature Ability - Hot Hands This ability is your bread and butter. If someone is holding a close angle, throw this at the ground below them to push them out of position. Sound like you're about to get rushed ? Throw it at the ground to put out some quick damage or halt their push altogether! KEEP IN MIND, WITH THIS ABILITY YOU CAN ALSO HEAL YOURSELF!! Just throw it at the ground below you! Ultimate Ability - Run it back This is one of my favorite abilities. It brings you back to life. BE CAREFUL, THE DURATION IS RELATIVELY LOW. I personally use this primarily for entry fragging. (Entry fragging is when you go into a site or area first in hopes to clear it out) Or if there's someone behind me I can trust to hit their shots, I will use this ability to bait out the sniper or person holding an angle and let my teammate trade the kill. Its an extremely helpful ability on offense!
