No more ovaries over here ya'll!! Hopefully after six weeks I'll be feeling up to getting into shape and then I'm on to start my electrolysis for phalloplasty in October (: The first two days were the only time I took my pain killers, as of yesterday and today I've been sticking to ibuprofen because norcos make me feel like shit and they make me constipated 🙄. I also haven't really been bleeding as much as the hospital said I would. My body responds really well to surgery and I'm hoping it'll keep up this quick healing during my surgery in October.

out of surgery and finally home! everything went smooth. i wasn't able to pee on my own for some reason so I had to get a straight catheter but other than that everything is fine. Not a lot of pain just light gas pain here and there

so i’m going in for my hysterectomy today, and i’m not as anxious as I was during my top surgery but still feel a little nervous. it came to my attention that people my age are moving out, getting married, having babies, getting new cars, and i’m spending money on surgeries. i don’t regret doing any of this at all and i know i never will. i’m a very independent person and having to rely on someone else really bothers me, in this instance my mom. she obviously has supported me her whole life and all she ever says is that she wishes I was born cis so i wouldn’t have to go through all of this, but then she takes it back right away because if i was born cis i wouldn’t be the person i am today. anyway, this is the first stages of my journey through bottom surgery. i’m really going to try and be more active on my transition blog and possibly make an update video while i’m recovering. thank you all for your patience and support, i appreciate you.

So I've recently been contacting the MST Clinic in Oakland for more information about bottom surgery, I'm happy to say I got a call back and a nurse should be calling me for a phone appointment on Wednesday! After that we'll set up an appointment for what it seems to be almost like a screening of information regarding phalloplasty and doctors who have experience in the surgery. It'll be about a three hour long appointment, I'm super excited!!

Today is transgender day of visibility, and this picture is me 3 weeks on T to the left, and me one year and almost one month on T to the right. Most of you who knew me pre-t and see me now tell me you’ve seen a significant difference in my attitude, and I seem like a much happier person. You’re right, I am. I’m living the life I want to live in the identity of the person I want to be. I love myself and it’s an amazing feeling. This is what this day is about. Growing and finding yourself and being comfortable in the person you are and were always meant to be. Recognize our struggle and what we go through every day to be who we are. We need your help to end transphobia. #tdov #transandvisible #ftm #transboy #transman #trans #transguy #ftmtransgender

I can’t help but feel a little annoyed after seeing post after post about Dr. Sherie’s ‘new’ buttonhole technique for top surgery. The buttonhole method offers a unique outcome that hasn’t been used in traditional top surgery procedures but it’s far from new and Dr. Sherie definitely didn’t develop it. The buttonhole technique has been utilized for breast reductions since 1924 and, anecdotally speaking, I sat in on a top surgery consult around this time 2 years ago with a surgeon who uses this method. It’s nice to see more options are becoming more widely available but it’s misleading to claim that this is a new technique or that she invented it.

My bottom dysphoria has been really terrible lately and I'm trying really hard to keep positive but just thinking about how much top surgery was and how much of the deductible I have to pay I don't even want to think about bottom surgery it makes me want to shrivel up and disappear. Like its never going to happen.
