It's the middle of the work day and honestly what am i doing here? How does one work without explicit instructions? Work on a website, the boss man says. Do we use the same wireframe, me asks, and then nothing. zilch. zero response to said question. Ok, i says, i'll just make a study for the homepage. did that and passed it to the boss man and still nada. so what do i next? do i just keep making more studies? more versions? i feel like i'm wasting my time. wasting myself away.
P said "so you're 30. so what? why are you feeling pressured? where is this pressure coming from? you can't answer that, y'know why? Cos it's not real. the pressure isn't real." And objectively i can see that, i can understand that. i get it. there is no pressure and yet other people feel it too. the rush, the need to get to whatever point in life. I should have this, i should have that by this time, why don't i have that, why don't I have this. I get it.
I get it so much that i'm pretty sure i've written it down here before. if the pressure isn't real, why does it haunt me? why does the feeling of me wasting my life loom at the edges?
