Thought I would give something sweet before February ends, so I found this adorable moment, first shared during my early days here.

"Going Courtin'"

..... You know what, I'm in the mood for sharing a future story snippet tonight. Even better... it's one featuring Cimarra and Aymeric. Hehe. 🤭

Spoilered for those who do not wish to read it. Instead, I shall gift them one of my favorite pictures of Cimarra in Coerthas. 😊

"Having grabbed a few leves on her way out of the city to clear her mind for a bit, Cimarra walked silently along Foundation’s streets. Just as she was about to leave through the gate, she stopped, one ear flicking back as her name was called.

She turned in surprise. Aymeric strode toward her, smiling as soon as he saw her.

“If I might ask, where are you off to?”

A moment’s hesitation before she answered. “I picked up a few leves.” I wanted some time away…to think. Among other things.

“May I join you?”

Cimarra was stunned. “...Don’t you have pressing duties needing your attention?”

“Yes… but they can wait.” His bright blue gaze was entirely focused on her, hoping she wouldn’t refuse.

Torn, Cimarra warred with herself. One part argued that even the Lord Commander needed a break once in a while. The other wondered if his motive was a continuation of the courting she felt like he’d been doing lately. Before, it’d been subtle, to the point it took her a while to figure it out. But now that she knew…

Cimarra wasn’t sure what to do about it.

She couldn’t help fidgeting, her eyes glancing at him then away.

Aymeric started to fear he’d upset her. He was about to withdraw his request. Only to freeze before saying a word.

“Alright.”

His eyes widened, although it went unnoticed by Cimarra.

“But only so long as you can keep up.”

Without warning, she took off through the gate, golden hair shimmering in the sunlight. However, her ears were slightly turned, listening behind her.

He couldn’t help smiling. Adorable.

The nearby knights could only watch in astonishment as the Lord Commander ran after the Warrior of Light. Some more knowledgeable in love affairs would claim that his expression had been entirely besotted.

Not that they were going to say anything about it."

Starry Sky

You're sometimes overwhelmed by how much you feel, and you don't always know what to do with all those feelings. You value honesty. You want to feel at peace, and you try not to take the little things for granted. You believe you are part of something bigger than yourself. Your actions and opinions reflect your care for other people. You're not necessarily an optimist but you hold onto hope. You take life as it comes, but you don't let it walk all over you.

Sorry for being so late in doing this. Life has just been super busy. It was really fun, though some questions really made me pause and have to consult with Cimarra. 🤣

But I enjoyed doing it and I think her result suits her. 🥰
