It’s the fourth year of me drawing Sylphyra to start out the year. This year, I have her in her little Shadowfell tavern, where she tends to the souls of the recently deceased. For 2023, I drew her in the ruins of Kal Enthras. In 2022, I drew her as Death and started my Tarot x OC series. In 2021, I drew her portrait as I thought it would sit in the house of Dorn. She never had an official portrait done of her for that in her lifetime.

Sylphyra means so much to me and I miss playing her so much, but her story has been told. It has changed me. And maybe one day I’ll actually finish the book I’ve been writing of the campaign and more people can understand her impact on me instead of me just yelling into the void about my blorbo.

In the Hall of Stars, eight things were lost: two eyes, one tongue, two ears, a liver, one heart, and a mother. Erembour has never felt so free.

First the ravens took Adreanna’s eyes, for she didn’t need to see what was to happen next.

Next was the tongue so that no curse or scream could escape Adreanna’s throat.

Third, the ravens plucked away her ears, for she refused to listen to her children and didn’t need to hear the beating of wings.

Then, the ravens plucked out her liver, for this would symbolically destroy her soul. Since she had tried so hard to hide and destroy the light, the light would consume her.

Finally, the ravens destroyed Adreanna’s heart, as the cruelest punishment Erembour could think of for heartlessness was having to sit with it until the end.
