I swear I don’t just shit post; here’s an update on some of the stuff I actually get up to in Warframe.
The Exploiter fight is fucking AWESOME, first off. @cephalon-celaeno, @cephalonseginus and I went to investigate the door that the fragments lead you to, and when we discovered that the boss fight could be triggered inside... we all kinda collectively glanced around at each other like fuck yeah we’re gonna do this, so without any planning or research whatsoever, we went and fucked up the Exploiter Orb’s day.
Then we thought, oh, maybe it’s time to go after the Profit Taker! after the final member of the A-Team reached max rank with Solaris United. To our surprise and delight, this week’s hardcore wolf challenges includes ‘Defeat the Profit Taker With Friends’, so we obviously decided to attempt it. And, as is our tradition, we decided to do our first attempt blind. That... went about as well as you might expect. Turns out the Exploiter is a pushover compared to her big sister the Profit Taker. So... guess it’s back to the drawing board.
Anyway, we’ll figure it out! Those Orbs will tremble before the A-Team, just you wait...

So this was definitely the highlight of the week; a little bit of St. Paddy’s Day luck graced @cephalonseginus and I when we decided to get a start on wolf missions, and knock out the triple Spy challenge. He chose Ceres, because the vaults are familiar to him, and we briefly wondered if we might see the room.
What is that, you might ask? Well, if you’ve ever noticed these little Kuria things scattered around the tile sets throughout the system, they’re scannable items which each give you a specific line in a long poem (the topic of which I won’t spoil). There are loads of them, in any of the Grineer or Corpus tiles, and they can be tricky to find if you aren’t looking for them.
This particular Kuria right here? It is one of two which reside in a special tile found only on Ceres. The real kicker is, this tile is rare as fuck. As in, you might go months without ever seeing it, even if you visit Ceres a lot. A long time ago, I went on a concentrated search to find every Kuria I could, until I had collected all but three - the two in this room, and one on Uranus, which Seginus and I both held off on scanning (it’s easy to find) until we both got the two Kurias above. I had just about forgotten the search, as I’m really busy with other priorities, but this day fate had other ideas.
I’m so giddy even thinking about it now; Seginus had run farther ahead in the map when he said “hey have we ever been in this room before...?” so I told him to wait up so I could see it for myself. Sure enough, with a quick bullet jump up to the telltale trio of cranes, I saw the most beautiful sight ever: a tiny Kuria, which caused my scanner to chirp in the way it does for items which have not been scanned.
So yeah. I’m happy with that.
