🛡️: Hm… I do know that my brother and I have a few. Like… about two to five or so. But-

⚔️: They’re not big scars where it required stitches, or scars that have a tragic tale behind it. Only ones that tell a short, silly story.

⚔️: As in, tell the stories behind them? I don’t know-

🔽: Well, at least one-

⚔️: Very well. Hm… I recall as children, we used to play outside quite a bit. This is apparent because… Well, do you recall the story of my brother encountering his Bronzor for the first time?

🔼: Yeah? What about it?

🛡️: I… said I fell through some cave and… I managed to get two scars from that. One on my… left side of my back from the impact of the fall because there was a rock that scratched me deeply in that area.

🔽: And the other?

🛡️: On my right lower knee. I was running, and I accidentally scraped my lower knee with another rock.

⚡: … Rocks man.

🔽: … I guess rocks don’t like you.

🔼: Hm. And what about you?

⚔️: Me? Uh… I have one in my left arm, another one on my right shoulder and… two on my leg.

Anyway, I recall at some point my brother accidentally scratching my left arm with one of those swords we used to play with, and it was a deep cut. I honestly thought it was a simple scratch, but it turned into a scar. And I recalled my brother panicking when all this happened.

🛡️: Of course I was! Do you expect me to not care? Or to hurt you INTENTIONALLY?

⚔️: No, I know you didn’t mean it. It’s honestly okay. Everyone has scars at some point.

⚔️: Hm… so what’s your stories? Or what amount of scars do you people have?

🛡️: H-hey! I told two stories! You have to do the same!

🔽: Not really, you kinda told us two stories on your own accord. So you messed up.

🛡️: HOW IS THAT FAIR-

⚔️: … So?

🔼: … Oh! Well, I do have a few scars. Although… there’s many that I don’t recall the stories of. But to conclude a few, I assume they were from Hisui. Where Pokemons attack anything that moves.

🛡️: Uh… I think Pokemons always did that. Even nowadays.

🔼: Well, yes, but in Hisui it’s BAD. I have a lot of scratches, burns, bites, and more marks on my body. So again, I can't tell you specifics, but that’s what I got…

🔽: … Same story for me. I remember nothing about the stories behind my scar. While I do have some scars around my body as well, I know nothing.. Well… maybe besides one.

⚡: … Which one is that?

🔽: Uh… I was like, a teenager when it happened. I remember it happened on a Friday in March, when school was done for the day and Spring Break was about to start. While running back home, I accidentally tripped over a rock. Which caused three things around my left ankle area; a small scar, a bruise, and a crack bone so I had to walk with crutches for a bit.

🛡️: Oh… I’m so sorry.

🔽: Eh. It’s fine. Yeah, it sucked, but it was something.

🔼: Hm… I know that Lady Sneasler has a scar around her right eye area.

🛡️: h u h ?

🔼: Yeah, I think she tried to tell me the story. Which was… when she was a Sneasel, she was running around and accidentally tripped and fell on a rock. It ALMOST hit and damaged her right eye, but luckily that didn’t happen. Instead, it hit the near EDGES of her right eye. So she was lucky that day.

🔼: Of course, the scar is hidden in her fur. But it’s still there.

🛡️: Hm… A lot of rock incidents regarding our scars.

🔼: Rocks are scary.

🛡️: I guess so.

🔽: … Woman didn’t get her turn yet.

🛡️: Oh yeah. That’s right.

⚡: Hm… Well, I do have about… three or four small scars. This one time I accidentally dropped my hair straightener, and it burned the side of my waist a bit. And it kinda left a faint scar, it might be hard to notice at first glance, but if you look hard enough, you'll probably see it.

I know this post is a bit random since it's not really Pokemon related. But I'm sure that some people who like Splatoon follow me here, so this is more for Splatoon people if anything.

I just made a Squidbeak Splatoon blog on Tumblr. It's both an ask and a headcanon blog. I believed I mentioned a few times that I really love the game and used to be in the scenes before leaving it. And now coming back to it. In fact, I probably know more about Splatoon than Pokemon.

So... It's a good place for people who like Splatoon and want to talk about it.

I think I talked about this on my Twitter. But I'll share it on here too, in case if I didn't before. So for a while now, I've been considering adding more characters into both of my blogs (the headcanon and the ask one). And these characters are... - The psychic Gym Leaders (Tate and Liza) - The Striaton Trio (Chili, Cilan and Cress) - The Battle Chatelaines (Nita, Evelyn, Dana and Morgan) I just think it would be more fun to add and write for more characters. Because I started to like those guys more and I find it a bit sad that they get barely any attention. ;w; Don't worry, I'll still write for the Royal twins and the train people. The requests/asks in my inbox already will still stay the same. I think the only thing that'll change are a few rules (in both blogs) and more characters being added. Hm... And I think a given rule if I were to do this in this blog in particular is that I'll ONLY do platonic headcanons for characters like Tate and Liza (when it comes to that kind of thing). Although the funny thing is that I feel like a lot of the things I put on here can be seen as platonic headcanons anyway (because that's how I see it 99% of the time). But still, as long as people don't take or spin any of my headcanons in a problematic nature, it's fine. But uh, yeah. I kinda wanted to ask if you guys would like that idea. ;w;

⚔️: I’m… not really one to look at a team critically unless if I fight them and wish to insult them to feel better about myself, or if it’s clearly bad by looking at it. But this looks okay to me.

⚔️: Just… you know… teams with similar typings and can easily be destroyed by one single type... Or teams of baby Pokemons...

⚔️: Unless they're gym leaders or specialize in one type, of course… Then you have a reason.

🛡️: Arceus sake, brother, stop calling me out.

🔽: Huh?

⚔️: My brother’s team is all about being defensive. While he does succeed in that, his team consists of fighting and steel types. Any fire moves could eliminate his whole team. Especially fire and ghost types combined. Just look at Ingo’s Chandelure. She can take down all of my brother’s team with no issue.

🛡️: Fuck off. I beat Ingo’s team once, don’t pretend as if I never did.

⚔️: Yes, but just barely.

🔼: … Well, it all depends, really. Such as the movesets, typings, abilities, natures and so on. Maybe even the item said Pokemon is carrying. And… how you fight, I suppose. Since some people just go full-on attack mode, while others think of skills. Some people even use the same movesets for a Pokemon. I’ve seen Pokemons with three different poison movesets, and one normal. Which isn’t entirely good, don’t you think? And of course you don’t want Pokemons to be weak by the same typing, as Sordward pointed out. Natures are important too since it raises and lowers certain stats of the Pokemon. And abilities aid your Pokemon more, depending on what it is. So we can’t really judge or criticize your team-

🔽: Okay Ingo, we get it, stop rambling, Pokemons are all unique and stuff.

🔼: … I apologize if I rambled on a bit. But look, as long as you're happy with your team, and they do well in battle in your opinion. It doesn’t matter. It’s a judgment call. Whatever works for you, it works.

⚡: Yeah, I can agree with that. As long as you’re happy with your team, it doesn’t matter. If you wish for your Pokemon team to be concentrated on one thing, whether it’s being cute for beauty contests, or being strong for either attack focus or defense focus, a certain typing, anything. It’s entirely up to you.

🛡️: … Why are you people giving me shit for my team then? I like my team as it is.

🔽: It sucks.

🔼: Hm… Well, Litwicks need a lot of care in general. Not in the same way where you need to take care of a dog, but it's a bit similar to a cat. Where the Pokemon can take care of themselves, but still need a lot of care at the same time? It's complicated.

🛡️: … Don't some grass types need genuine care? Like Lilligants with their flower crowns? Is it similar to that?

🔼: Yes! And that's what I meant by it! Litwicks don't need constant attention like dogs. But you can't leave them alone if they need attention. It's best to keep them somewhere that's… well, a bit dark, like not in the bright sun. Inside a house is just fine enough. Or in a ghostly area, but if you wish to keep the Litwick that followed you, you probably won't do that. I, for one, just keep them around my house or in my office.

⚔️: Hm… how do those little guys even drink? I get that Pokemon's eat berries for food and most drink water… but for Litwicks?

🛡️: I thought that they eat by… absorbing the life energy of Pokemon or people?

⚔️: … Scary.

🔼: No, they eat berries like any other Pokemon. They absorb life energy to fuel the flames on their heads. Which keeps them alive. On that note, NEVER, and I repeat NEVER, let the flame on their head die down. They’ll cease to exist, so you need to be very careful around water-type Pokemons. Or any Pokemons that know water moves.

⚔️: Then how do they drink? Or even bathe, if that’s the case?

🔼: Hm… Well, I’m no Pokemon professor. But from what I can see, they don’t drink water. But a theory I have is that absorbing life energy could be a way for them to “drink”. And much like cats, they can clean themselves on their own. It’s just that Litwicks do it differently with the melted wax. Look, if you genuinely wish to know about the Pokemon itself, go search for Professor Juniper. She knows about the origin of Pokemons. Or... you could ask that Professor that you like back in your region.

I only managed to receive a Litwick as a starter because… well… from what I was told, my mother had an obsession with the Pokemon Litwicks. To a point she even had a shiny Lampent. She trained a lot of those little things, and I suppose I learned a thing or two about it. So-

🛡️: And I know you keep Litwicks in your office instead of wandering around, aside from this case where one manages to break free. But wouldn’t that also be a safety hazard for anyone that even goes near your office? To have their life force absorbed by a bunch of ghost candles?

🛡️: And as of now, we currently have TWO Pokemons from a distant past in the present time, in here, on the subway. One being a baby Hisuian Sneasel that my own brother gave to you as a present, and the other being that an anonymous user just brought Lady Sneasler back in here with zero explanation. That alone should be alarming, and I shouldn’t even need to explain why. But in case you forgot, she played an important role in the past. Bringing her in the present time should lead to disaster for those people!

⚔️: Well, maybe they found another Sneasler to be a noble. I get that nobles were given special blessings, but… surely one of the Sneasler’s children would become the next in line if something happened to… well, this Sneasler. Plus, we’re still here, so surely it worked out in the end.

🛡️: … I don’t think Lady Sneasler had any children of her own. I believe she stole eggs from other homes to raise them herself-

⚔️: shE WHAT-

🛡️: Look, what I’m trying to get at is that you two have hazards all over the place, while your number one thing is to stay safe. And some Pokemons that shouldn’t even be here because they can cause poisoning among others. They’re even more of a risk to all of us if we keep them hidden from the public. Seeing that Team Plasma or scientists could just come in here, threaten our lives if they even have the remote HINT that we’re hiding something.

🔼: … Okay, first, I can assure you and everyone that the Joltiks and the Litwicks were specifically trained to not hurt people at random. So it should be fine. And while I do agree that we’re risking our safety for Lady Sneasler and Little Sia. But what else can we do? Leave them outside? It’s both of your jobs to keep them hidden and safe, seeing that we have jobs, but you two don’t as it is and used to complain about being bored. Or… more so of your job because I’ve seen your brother come and leave the station a lot.

⚔️: I can assure you all that I’m doing important things while I’m gone-

⚔️: I should’ve said it was for her friends, Nessa and Kabu. They’re the ones who need some Pokemons because they’re running out. And since we live in the middle of nowhere doing nothing, while also needing to pay our debts for the trouble we caused, we might as well be the ones to help out. Seeing that we’re forced to as punishment.

🛡️: Then… I’m sure I can help! Let me-

⚔️: No, don’t get involved. So far, I paid off our debts. And don’t worry, it’s going well. Keep babysitting for the Sneasel and the Sneasler while I pay off our debt.
