I know it’s a little late for New Years resolutions. I wasn’t even sure that I was going to have one. There’s so many things about myself that I would like to improve, but they all seem so superficial somehow. I think this year my resolution has to start at the core. I need to change the way I see the world before I can change the more superficial things. I work so hard to not take this life for granted but have I been successful? I spend a lot of time wanting. For things and changes and upgrades. A lot of time. This year I need to focus on being thankful for the things I have, Cherishing them and then taking better care of them. It starts with my home. I want to donate things I don’t need and simplify my life a bit. I need to take care of the beautiful home we have instead of always thinking about getting a new one.
