Hello~

It’s been a while.

I may not be playing sims anymore, but I still think about all my time I spent on simblr and I don’t regret any of it! I miss this community and I’m so proud of all the work I put into my sims and my blog.

Life update~

👩🏻Currently 26 (yowzers).

💍I married the guy I talked about in my previous post. ;)

🐶🐶🐹🐹🐭🐭🐭🐭 we have two dogs, two hamsters, and four mice.

That’s about it! I hope you all are doing well. I will never forget my time here. Good bye for now. 🥰❤️

August Update ~

Hi everyone! It’s been a while since I checked tumblr. I am just overwhelmed by the support and love I have been receiving from everyone, especially regarding my goodbye post. As promised, I thought I’d update you on how my summer has been going.

I’d like to start off saying that my job has been amazing. It has changed my life in so many ways. I’ve always been introverted and shy and very socially anxious but after spending 9 hours a day with the same people for nearly 3 months, I eventually joined a friend group with some of my colleagues. It feels like I have a second family there.

After 22 years of being single and feeling a bit left out, I have finally met someone. He works at my work and is part of my friend group but doesn’t do the same job as me. Anyway, he’s the sweetest guy and I could not be happier.

Oh and I’ve been practicing driving a lot (I had pretty severe driving anxiety and still haven’t even gone on highways yet). I was able to buy my dad’s car so now I have to work on paying that off. I’ve decided to postpone moving out of my parents’ house until next year.

I apologize about not answering asks and messages. I am literally just now checking this for the first time in two months. Also, (I hate to say this) I am losing interest in sims so I may not reply for a while. I spend a lot of time with friends now, something I never did before (or if I did, I didn’t enjoy much) so my interests are changing.

Long story short, this summer has changed me a lot. I am becoming more confident and learning to love myself. Of course, I still have a long way to go, but I am happy with my life and the way it has surprised me.

Dear Sims Community,

If you’re seeing this, it means the last post in my queue has posted. It is currently May 11, 2017 as I write this, but have a feeling this will post in June or so. I haven’t played much sims since February and I probably won’t for some time now.

I graduated college with a B.S. in computer science on May 5 and I will be working as a Game Support Technician at a small company (I start May 15). It’s not a high paying job nor is it a great use of my degree but I don’t mind. I’m actually kind of excited to work there and I want to live frugally and lessen my carbon footprint as well. I have goals to save up for a car (mainly for the commute since we get snowy winters here) and hopefully my own place. I will have very little time for sims because I am 22 and unfortunately that means I must put some adult things first.

I joined the sims community in November of 2010 and I joined tumblr a year or so after that. Meeting all of you has changed my life and I will never forget you! Just know that I definitely do plan on hopefully coming back someday (I will at least try to check in every once in a while to give you updates and see all your lovely posts).

I will miss you. :’) Thank you all for a good 6.5 years.

Since I have my sims on free will, the children do this every time they’re tired. It’s so frustrating because they’ll be exhausted and still want a bed time story.
