"A ROSE FOR A ROSE" | kinda cliché valentines blurbs
cc!dteam x gn!reader , fluff
george! any day with you is a day well spent
with your first valentine's day as a couple coming up george wanted to do something special for the both of you, his rare romantic side making an appearance as he tried to make sure everything was perfect
it was obviously just his luck when as soon as the 14th came around all his plans fell apart, starting with you waking up to the smoke alarm instead of the breakfast in bed he had envisioned. then, as you helped him scrape the burnt... eggs? from the frying pan he received a call from the restaurant saying all reservations had been canceled because of something he really couldn't be bothered to understand
the nail in the coffin was the bouquet he'd bought with all your favorite flowers getting delivered to the wrong address because why not? everything had already gone wrong and he was convinced the universe hated him. his "cosmos is against me theory" was quickly proven wrong, however, when he was brought back to the real world by your amused giggle and he was reminded of why he had even planned everything to the most intricate details: you
you who weren't mad when he explained that valentine's day would be spent watching movies and eating takeout, but instead laughed because a day with your loving boyfriend was a day well lived- wether you had a fancy dinner or ate chinese on the living room floor
dream! glitter bombs and paper hearts
couples on valentine's day were expected to spend all day together showing their love for each other, you and dream knew that, but what's more fun than covering your closest friends in sparkly hell as a way to show your appreciation for them? in your eyes, nothing!
making cards and sending them in envelopes full of glitter and hand-cut paper hearts seemed like the perfect way to spend february fourteenth with your favorite person, and it was! until your adorably restless boyfriend got bored of gluing the shiny flakes to cardstock and decided your skin was a much better canvas, blowing glitter on you and getting it all over the couch and rug in the process
as the shock of dream's action wore off you decided you wouldn't just sit there and do nothing, although the giggles your boyfriend let out were undeniably cute. so, without looking you grabbed the thing closest to you and threw it at him- luck making it clear that it did not like your living room, because the item you flew halfway across the room just so happened to be a container full of ultra-fine glitter, and while you succeeded in getting back at your boyfriend you also succeeded at making clean up 4 hours longer and a million times harder than it had any right to be
sapnap! two-for-ones and february fifteenth
making your way back home from a late night snack run you realized all the valentine's day deals, noting how unfair it was that only people in relationships got discounts and free stuff like they were any more special than single people. as you made a mental note to publicize your disdain for romance-based promotions you came up with a brilliant idea, now almost jogging to your house in a hurry to text your best friend
you woke up with a good feeling the next morning, eager to put your plan into motion. sapnap had agreed to pretend to be your boyfriend as long as your quest to abuse couple deals included free lunch and a visit to a skate or sneaker shop, preferably both
sooner than you would have liked february fourteenth came to an end and you and your best friend were back to being just that: friends. as you said your goodbyes for the day you tried not to let your disappointment show but obviously the man who had known you for practically your entire life knew something was up, hopeful that it was the same thing bringing a feeling of unease to his stomach
when you were about to go to bed you noticed your phone light up, alerting you of a message you had just received. when you opened it you were elated to see those five little words:

baking stream with clingy duo !

bad bad idea
you're bad at cooking in general
so baking is even worse
