whenever I think about the female characters I like to add a little bit of spice of them in the form of very human flaws the fandom would absolutely hate.

like piper for me despite every single effort she did still would come off as entitled and genuinely lazy. not in neurodivergent "lazy" when she cannot do something even though she has to and wants to but she doesn't do things because she simply doesn't want to and can afford not to and that pisses off so many hardworking people around her.

on hazel I'm not decided on because she simply lacks personality for me but if I were to write her I would add a little bit of conservatism and cowardice. she's from 1930s she's a black woman being afraid is basically her baseline and not liking things that changed since her lifetime is not something you can hold her for considering she's been dead longer than she's been alive but sometimes she just says things and they throw people off. it's a steep learning curve for her.

no matter how terrible my day is. i can always end my day in bed imagining fictional characters making out sloppy style and fucking raw. and that's beautiful. there's some good in this world mister frodo and it's worth fighting for

piper hates cameras.

it's not an uncommon thing for a child of celebrity not to like to be papped but piper hates the paparazzi and bystanders who get her photos "discreetly" wherever she goes outside with equal burning passion.

when leo asked why she refused to answer but he has an inkling that at least once they must've done something to her, something hideous. leo idly contemplated making something that would ruin photos and the camera permanently when activated but was forced to put the idea on the backburner.

jason hates cameras too.

at least partially his hate comes from fear. jason still is not good with electric devices, having one pointed at him did not endear them to him in the slightest. but when public found a lost child who looks startlingly like beryl grace but male, attempts to get a clear photo were incessant. he nearly hit one paparazzi in the face when motherfucker managed to sneak in closer too.

they both love it when he draws them though.

jason is all lean muscle during the wars because of the constant fighting and stress and missing meals but the moment dust settles down he starts getting softer and bulkier at the same time. proper nutrition actually is better for your body, who would have thought.

which. leads to his usual button up shirts not fitting him anymore. and his pants look like they've been vacuum sealed to his thighs. he rips pants in compromising place at least twice.

leo spends an entire day looking at one button clinging to life by its nails. THEN jason drops a pencil on the floor and bends down.

leo grips a can so hard it squishes and sends soda everywhere.

actually i have more. jason uses shield as an offhand when fighting people or people sized monsters and chain when fighting bigger opponents. chain conducts electricity easily.

percy uses net, usually just a reinforced one, which he can also throw like bolas. but if he's feeling particularly murderous, net can be covered in poison.

reyna can dual wield but prefers a simple knife as an offhand. on a rare occasion she doesn't go for her usual sword, she uses two double-bladed swords (think camilla hect).

inspired by post about left handed sword duelists i now headcanon jason, reyna and percy as ambidextrous. nothing worse ever happened for their opponents than the moment they just switch the sword hand midfight.
