talking abt their family dynamic under the cut
bro, like actual homestuck, is still dave's only guardian. he took in dave fourteen years ago, legit when the kid was born. there isn't much different abt them from actual homestuck to be honest
bro is just as terrible as he was there, albeit unintentionally with some aspects.
bro also goes MIA at one point after dave is gravely injured, which is assumed to be from bro. a fatal blow gets dave sent to live with his- older sister? aunt? technically older sister but more like an aunt, mom lalonde and her daughter rose.
dave insists bro was not the one to deal the blow as police search for him, and dave's correct.
