The hot glue worked but * because of the nature of the noodles it melted the noodle a bit and it took a while to cool off an set. Today is my 10th married anniversary and 17th total . I had a wonderful but undecorated cheesecake for our wedding soooo I decided for this anniversary I was going to make us/me a pretty cake. It's a gluten free Italian cream cake with a buttercream frosting and flowers topped off by some edible sparkle dust to make it shimmer. I am so so pleased with how it came out. Living gluten free means fancy cakes like this are few and far between . It was exactly 40 days since pixy left us , to the day willow arrived here. I started looking before pixy left ,knowing it wasn't going to be easy or fast. I looked & looked and saved &hoped and called on a few dogs but nothing worked . I knew from looking at Herkimer human society facebook page that they had a lot more dogs than we could see listed on line, so on Saturday after not being able to see dogs at steven swan we headed there. We saw so many dogs outside (cuz it was nice out ) and I feel like I broke hearts as we walked around. We met another dog but willow ended up stealing our hearts. Before I lost my heart ,now it's in this Lil Tin . I put her in one of her favorite window spots before I leave for work . I miss her so much ,her lil dog smell, her soft fur, most of all her happiness to see me up untill the last 6 months. She would greet me like I had been gone months everytime I came home ...now I come home to an empty house that just makes me cry and feel anxious.
