Thinking about how Angel Dust has most likely never experienced proper unconditional love and most likely won’t know how to accept it

 I mean he lived in the 30s as a gay man, while there were definitely people who were in queer relationships during that time I don’t think he would be one of them, especially since he died relatively young(either in his late 20s or early 30s I can’t remember) so he died most likely never being able to be in a real relationship

So then he goes to hell and meets Valentino, and though we currently don’t know much about their relationship outside of it being extremely abusive and Valentino owning Angels soul, I personally believe that at some point, Angel was genuinely in love with Val, I can’t really think of any other reason why he would willingly sign away his autonomy. So he signs away his soul out of love only to be physically, emotionally and sexually abused by the person who he once thought cared about him

And then he meets Husk, one of the few people who can see through the mask that he puts on, one of the few people who seemingly doesn’t just want him for his body, one of the few people who can see where Angel Dust ends and Anthony begins and seemingly prefer Anthony.and of course it’s nice but naturally, it would freak angel out, he has never experienced this before, and he can’t really understand why Husk would want him in the first place, Anthony is broken and traumatized, Angel isn’t. He can’t wrap his head around it.

I want this more explored in the next season, I need it it so bad please
