Little hop, A quickie I made last night.

Was supposed to make this practice like a month ago when it was colder, now the weathers been sawing back in forth and it's not as cold and frosty, but rather wet and damp. Still dark though.

Yeah, exactly that. Keeping things humble is often a good way to run things. And remember to not let your own expectations of needing to surpass yourself stress you out. A lot of people cave into that mindset of needing to make bigger and better pieces each time and eventually burn out. I hope you keep making the fun things you like to make and have more people get interested in your work!

I saw you reblogged that post of "why are you following me?" Regardless of why I shall answer anyway. I am a simple man, I see good art of NiGHTS and I follow. To elaborate, I think your use of vibrant colours is really great and the way you apply it gives a kind of smooth softness to all your works which makes them really endearing. Your use of colours also extends to how you light your pieces which usually has this really powerful contrasting highlight which is nice, as contrast is always fun. And lastly you draw NiGHTS and Reala so cleanly with such nice proportions that just look right, almost perfect in a way. Your works are simply just so pleasing... I would now like to pose a question to you, why do you think people follow you, and do you think they should?

Honestly thank you, I do try to go out of my way to draw them and the environments as close to the actual game as I can, or at least how I remember them looking, I'll definitely draw other characters later on though

And about the question you asked me, I'm not really sure, this blog was mostly for posting art I liked or some of my favorites so I can look back at it later, and I just thought other people would wanna see it too, but if I were to guess, I'd say they should if they'd wanna see my art, or talk to me about it

Uploading the pictures you want with the vague hope that maybe someone out there will enjoy it is exactly the reason I started posting stuff. And I was in turn inspired to do that due to artists who basically basically disappeared. So I tremendously value people putting what they want onto the internet for people to stumble onto, and it's bonus points if it's quality.

The biggest problem is that it's very easy to resign in not engaging with others either in a kind of "content scrolling trance" or then to not "rock the boat". Which is why I try to live by this 2014 Ster quote.
