i don't understand how you can listen to ryan talking about being a part of buck's bi arc so thoughtfully, forget about the fact that he's respected the interpretation of buddie and has been saying he'd be open to it literally from the start, and then decide that he's just like. homophobic for no reason and is single-handedly stopping buddie from happening through the force of his sheer hatred and horror over possibly being gay on tv. like i think you are just being racist
Ok but when buddie finally get engaged can they please have an argument over who gets to have Christopher as best man? Because Christopher would be an amazing best man and they both know it
Tired of the straights sayin “it came outta nowhere” when yeah, it did infact come out of nowhere cause that’s usually how queer people find out they’re queer themselves. Someone opens a door for them and the universe & stars align. Its not that difficult to understand
I’m obsessed with so many key buddie scenes being in the kitchen - the heart of the home, I’ve even done a huge post on it before, and the last episode gave us one the most important scenes yet- Buck coming out to Eddie, Eddie putting Buck at ease and reassuring him he loves him and that it doesn’t change anything between them and the first buddie hug in so so long. I am convinced the first buddie kiss and/or admitting their feelings for each other will be in the kitchen too
I have sooo much catching up to do and I want to leave it until I really have time to enjoy it but I am loving the move to ABC/this season so far. I love the way they are handling Buck’s sexuality/coming out storyline. I really like Buck and Tommy together, and am more than happy to watch how that goes (until we eventually get buddie obviously and I think it will be Tommy to give them the shove they need) and I love how much buddie we are getting, they are so close and I’m loving it, and finally a buddie hug after so long!
Thinking about the fact that we really only see Eddie from Bucks POV in 7x04. Thinking about how silly and goofy and smiley and happy he is when we do. Thinking about the fact that this is how Buck sees Eddie.
Also thinking about the fact that in the firehouse scene we never see Eddie looking at buck, even though in other episodes Eddie is almost constantly gazing at Buck. Thinking about how Buck likely misses those glances, how Eddie likely looks away before Buck can notice.
* Eddie defusing a bomb with Buck right by his side, just like their first episode and the beginning of their beautiful friendship
* Shirtless Eddie, Buck watching him, just like his first episode
* Eddie with his hand on Buck’s shoulder, thumb on his pulse point, just like when he did when he said there’s no he would trust more with his son than Buck
* Eddie and Buck bouncing off each other and just enjoying working together like they always have, and Eddie going to his co-parent Buck for help with Chris
