Ford continued to scribble in his notes as he crouched over some strange mushrooms sprouting beneath the shade of a tree. “Hmm...nothing special...” He muttered upon further examination. How dull.
The snap of a branch immediately grabbed his attention and his head whipped in the direction of the sound.
He stood and left to investigate. “Stanley?” He called quietly, his hand on his holstered lase pistol just in case.

After weeks at sea the Stan-O-War II finally docked on the shores of a seemingly deserted island somewhere in the Atlantic and duo had decided to split up to map out the area better. It was going well for the first day or so until not Stan, but Ford had gotten himself lost.
After realizing and admitting his mistake Ford immediately went to work setting up camp. Better to stay still and wait to be found than get even more lost, after all. Stan was bound to find him sooner or later.
Ford kept himself busy with jotting down details about the island inside the tent he’d thankfully brought with. It didn’t seem like anything special with typical fauna native to tropical regions but it wasn’t on any maps which was a bit strange and it wasn’t until night fell on the fourth day there that Ford began to feel uneasy.
He set out to circle the perimeter, checking if Stanley was nearby yet when it began to rain and an eerie, familiar sense of being watched took hold of him.
Ford figured it was just his nerves acting up from not sleeping a for a few days as usual and trekked on through the mud, notes and torch in hand.

“Shhh...shh....it’s alright, Stan, it’s alright...” Ford hushed quietly and tentatively rubbed Stan’s back soothingly.
His breathing was becoming worrisome; Stanley was going to pass out at this rate, Ford could at least tell that much. “Shhh, breath Stanley, you have to breath.” He instructed quietly.
