When you dream of having that fairy tale birth. You imagine kangaroo time and bonding with your newborn daughter. Her laying skin to skin with you. Family overloading on pictures of you laying in a hospital bed holding your infant daughter not even 2 minutes old. You imagine crying the first time you hold her and looking down on her crying while nurses wipe her clean. You don't imagine your daughter coming out barely breathing, black as coal and blue as a fresh bruise. You don't imagine not hearing that first cry and the nursing staff taking her right away from the doctors hands. Leaving you in the dark of everything and thinking to yourself "this doesn't happen in movies, usually you get the baby right away". You don't imagine your world slowing down and going slow motion when you realize something isn't right. You don't imagine the doctor paralyzing your daughters arm because he was too forceful and should have taken you to a csection instead of allowing you to push for hours!!!

It Is Not Fair
It is not fair to see your child struggle to meet milestones at 2 years old all because of a doctors negligence! Birth injuries don't have to happen. Paralyzing a newborns arm in the canal doesn't have to happen.😢
