Θέατρο Απόλλων - Ερμούπολη - Σύρου

Παγκόσμια Ημέρα Θεάτρου η σημερινή ημέρα, 27η Μαρτίου - ημερομηνία που θεσπίστηκε το 1961 και εορτάζεται κάθε έτος από την παγκόσμια θεατρική κοινότητα.
Με αυτή την αφορμή, σας παρουσιάζουμε το εμβληματικό Θέατρο 'Απόλλων' που βρίσκεται στην Ερμούπολη και κατασκευάστηκε το 1864. Στη σχεδιάσή του από τον αρχιτέκτονα Πιέτρο Σαμπό, διακρίνονται επιρροές από την ιταλική και γαλλική αρχιτεκτονική.
Στο θέατρο φιλοξενούνται συχνά διάφορες εκδηλώσεις και παραστάσεις και διάσημα θεατρικά έργα.

Theater Apollo - Hermoupolis - Syros
World Theater Day is today, March 27th; a date initiated in 1961 and yearly celebrated by the International theater community.
We take this as an opportunity to present you with one of the emblematic landmarks of Hermoupolis, the historic Theater Apollon, which was constructed in 1864. Designed by the architect Pietro Sampo, this building is influenced from the Italian and French architecture.
