Yes, it’s all coming along nicely.  My regards to Morrie.   Excellent as always, Gomorrah.
They try to rib me by accentuating my age.  If they only knew how ancient I truly am.
I enjoy Blasphemous rumours.  Don’t you?

When I was talking to my Doctor, Audrey, she told me that she used to work with Filipinas at a Hospital.  She told me they were her favorite because they were so agreeable and submissive.  I told her, :Oh yes.  My mother was a Registered Nurse.  She’s like that.”
But Emmaruth isn’t.  Submissive is a word that is not part of my lexicon.  I am aware of class distinctions and in polite society I acquiesce due to propriety and the code of conduct.
However they should know that Emmaruth is capable of going from sweet as sassafras to GHETTO KILLA in less than 3 seconds if you cross me.  And I don’t care who you are, even if you belong to a higher class.  If you touch my kids or my dog, I will kill you.  And I never stand down.  You will have to physically attempt to subdue me.  Because I will grab the nearest object and bash your head in with it.
There’s a code of conduct and regardless of class or stature, you must abide by it.  And I never give any MFer a free pass EVER.
And if you want war, war is what you shall have, because I don’t tolerate any sh*t and I am not your sycophant to do your bidding.

Agents and Sharkdren out there, be careful when you actually go on the field.  Be careful before you invoke a certain LUMINary’s name.  Especially Mr. Keanu Charles Reeves.  He’s formidable.  I call him “The Demon Whisperer.”  He’ll take over you and use you as his puppets.  Isn’t that so, Mr. John Wick?
And why would you want to be a mere incubus or succubus?  Wouldn’t you prefer to be a “Dark Angel”.  Be careful of equating “Dark Angels” with “Fallen Angels.”  Apples and Oranges, to be sure.
Rayne-Reeves hope your studies are going well.  Angels do not make ‘human’ error.  But they’re quite good at capturing ‘demons.’

If I'm not in love with you What is this I'm going through Tonight And if my heart is lying then What should I believe in Why do I go crazy Every time I think about you, baby? Why else do I want you like I do If I'm not in love with you?
And if I don't need your touch Why do I miss you so much Tonight? If it's just infatuation then Why is my heart aching To hold you forever? Give a part of me I thought I'd never Give again to someone I could lose If I'm not in love with you
Oh, why in every fantasy Do I feel your arms embracing me? Lovers lost in sweet desire Oh, why in dreams do I surrender Like a little baby Someone help explain this feeling Someone tell me
If I'm not in love with you What is this I'm going through Tonight And if my heart is lying then what should I believe in Why do I go crazy Every time I think about you baby Why else do I want you like I do If I'm not in love with you, ooh

Thursday
The English word Thursday is named after the Norse god of thunder, Thor. Thursday means Thor's day in Old English. Thor is represented riding a chariot drawn by goats and wielding his hammer. In most languages with Latin origins, the day is named after the god and planet Jupiter.

Burdock
Coarse perennial herbs with large floppy leaves and purple flowers, widespread on waysides, rough pastures and waste ground throughout lowland Britain.  The characteristic stiff hooks on burdock’s flower buds, flowers and seedheads, were, in the 1950s, the inspiration for Velcro.
Local names contributed to Plant-lore Archive include:
Bardog [Lerwick, Shetland, March 1994] Beggar’s buttons in Dorset [Martinstown, May1991] Clingers [Thorncombe, Dorset, April 1991] Sticky buds [Martinstown, Dorset, May 1991]. Sticky willow [Glencruitten, Argyllshire, October 1990].
Folklore associated with burdock includes:
[Cornwall] ‘piskies’ or ‘pixies’ a race of fairies or ‘small people’ are said to amuse themselves at night by riding colts furiously around the fields and plaiting their manes, or tangling them with ‘Billy buttons’ [i.e. the burrs] of burdock [1].
As children in Essex we threw the burrs of burdock on to the backs of unsuspecting friends – if they stuck you had a sweetheart; if they fell off after a short while their affection would not be reciprocated.  I lived in the then countryside of Chigwell/Hainault area, but my children played the same game 20 years later at Witham, Essex [Yafforth, North Yorkshire, January 1990].
Burdock burrs are an essential decoration of the costume of the Burry Man who appears at South Queensferry, West Lothian, on the second Friday in August each year, when he ‘perambulates the town visiting the houses and receiving cheerful greeting and gifts of money from householders’ [2]. Burrs are collected in sacks the week before, dried and cleaned then assembled into square or rectangular patches each comprising around 500 burrs.  On the Bury Man’s Day, he starts dressing at 7 a.m., first putting on a set of long underwear and hood, then standing patiently while the patches are pressed on and individual burrs are carefully placed in sensitive areas, such as the oxters (armpits) and crotch.  It takes two hours until all the burrs, plus flowers at the shoulders, hips and knees and a flowery hat are in place.  Two men support the Burry Man, who walks slowly and stiffly around the town from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., able to see a little through peepholes in his face mask and drink through a straw, neat whisky being his traditional tipple [3].
Gypsies used burdock to prevent or cure rheumatism: Infusion of leaves or flowers, or better still of crushed seeds, relieves and will cure rheumatism …  Some gypsies carry the seeds in a little bag slung round the neck as a preventative of rheumatism [4]
There are rare records of burdock being eaten as a vegetable: I had a great-aunt who had done this in c.1895-1910 in the Chesham area of Buckinghamshire.  I have recollections of reading that burdock ‘greens’, which were unpleasantly glutinous, were one of the disadvantages of life in the workhouse [Union Mills, Isle of Man, February 1995].

In the past, mandrake was often made into amulets which were believed to bring good fortune, cure sterility, etc. In one superstition, people who pull up this root will be condemned to hell, and the mandrake root would scream and cry as it was pulled from the ground, killing anyone who heard it.
Mandrakes can be poisonous if you eat them. Although a mandrake isn't edible, it is sometimes used in folk medicine. The root of the mandrake has very slight hallucinogenic qualities, and if it's consumed in large quantities it can cause death or coma.
The fact that the roots resemble the human form and have narcotic properties is likely what led to the belief in the plant’s magical properties. The human shape of the mandrake root supposedly screams when pulled from the ground. Hearing that scream was believed to be fatal (not true, of course). Because of the risk, there were many rituals surrounding how to protect oneself when harvesting mandrake. One was to tie a dog to the plant and then run. The dog would follow, pulling out the root but the person, long gone, would not hear the scream. As described first in the Bible, mandrake was supposed to boost fertility, and one way to use it was to sleep with the root under a pillow. Mandrake roots were used as good luck charms, thought to bring power and success to those who held them. They were also thought to be a curse because of the supposed ability to kill with the root’s scream. Mandrake was thought to crop up under gallows, wherever the body fluids of condemned prisoners landed on the ground.
