one of my favorite headcanons the fandom shares for zuko is that because of his string of work in first Pao's tea shop and the The Jasmine Dragon he developed a customer service voice that he uses on whatever hyped up bureaucrat of the week he has to deal with at the moment
but here's the thing. I don't think he's very good at it.
listen. he has spent most of his life getting where he and what he wants by raising his voice, insulting people or both. when he's not yelling he has a propensity for dramatic if ineloquent speeches. I think his version of customer service voice is plastered over this straining desire to break loose and tell you exactly where he's going to shove your opinion in .2 seconds.
this is still extremely effective and zuko actually has no idea that he sounds like he's going to snap and murder someone. he just thinks he's naturally persuasive.
