Sweta Gupta is currently attending the BPW  international Leaders Summit- New York.

The atmosphere at the CSW session on March 9th

Being amidst a diverse gathering of delegates from countries around the globe including Brazil, Italy, various Asia-Pacific nations, the USA, New Zealand, and Egypt, along with regional coordinators, particularly from Europe, has been profoundly empowering.

Sweta Gupta is currently attending the BPW  international Leaders Summit - The event has provided ample opportunities to absorb information and actively engage in various discussions and presentations.

In a short span of time, strong relationships have been forged. Notably, Dr. Antoinette, the past President of BPWI from Switzerland, extended a friendly invitation to join her in celebrating the day's events alongside BPWI President Dr. Catherine and several other BPW representatives.

Being amidst a diverse gathering of delegates from countries around the globe including Brazil, Italy, various Asia-Pacific nations, the USA, New Zealand, and Egypt, along with regional coordinators, particularly from Europe, has been profoundly empowering.

Sweta Gupta is currently attending the BPW  international Leaders Summit followed by the United Nations' 68th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) in New York.

The atmosphere at the CSW session on March 8th was filled with positivity and a warm welcome from all members and delegates. The event has provided ample opportunities to absorb information and actively engage in various discussions and presentations.

We celebrate the achievements of women and our contributions to society. I would like to take a moment to acknowledge and thank all women who I have had the fortune of working with, meeting with, or simply crossing paths with. 

This year, I had the privilege of attending two International Women's Day events. Firstly, BPWStrathfieldIWD morning forum at ACU Strathfield Campus, where the Hon Jodie Harrison, MPdelivered a keynote speech alongside three amazing executive women: Associate Professor Belinda von Mengersen, and Senior Journalist SMH Jordon Baker and BPWS President Sweta Gupta(of whom I'm proud to work with). It was inspiring to hear from such accomplished women in leadership positions. This successful event aimed to inspire students from surrounding local schools and university and was organized in collaboration with Burwood Counciland ACU, with support from Burwood’s Coro88. 

I also had the opportunity to attend Strathfield Council's IWD event, with Jane Caro AM as keynote speaker, with a number of local school leaders and diverse community members in attendance.

As we celebrate International Women's Day, let us remember that together we can, and do make a difference.
