Well, I have multiple but I think my most favorite headcanon is inspired from @bindeds, Vox kinda just tolerates Val? Like, I get that they're colleagues that fuck but I genuinely don't see them fitting with any romantic mess because Valentino is Valentino.

So to br blunt, for all those who've read my series and think/hope that I could possibly make (Y/N) befriend the moth? Uh... maybe not. I don't like him enough to actually do that 1, and it just doesn't fit my vision for the series 2. With Velvette it's a different story however and I can actually see them being gossip girls because (Y/N) isn't that nice of a person herself which will be shown eventually.

i wrote my favorite lines from 2 of the chapters in the comments if you’d like to see my anecdotes, but besides the excellent metaphors and imagery the author uses, they also write vox and alastor’s dynamic SO WELL. there’s always a hint of yearning in each sentence they exchange but also so much vile things waiting to be hurled at each other, it’s so delicious. let me gather my favorite lines!
