MUTO from Godzilla (2014)!
Saw this movie in theatres with a bunch of friends way back when, had a blast, and it's been in my head ever since. These guys in particular stole the show - wonderful creature concept, sound design, etc.
The dramatic perspective on this doodle was an attempt to capture how big the movie made the monsters feel, an effect I feel is lost in its sequels.

I've long had this idea in my head for spaceships inspired by anvil-shaped cumulonimbus clouds. These are the first two proper renderings of the concept.
I think there'd be just a few of these, each of a unique shape. Each one is a generation ship the size of a small city, capable of travelling through a hyperspace/slipspace type of dimension at great cost. Everywhere they go, they act as the base of operations for a resource collection operation taking many years, eventually gathering enough energy to make another jump and repeat the cycle. Who knows why they go where they do?

A lineup of some characters from The Magnus Archives!
I've definitely taken inspo from the other lovely works I've seen around tumblr, but I do feel I've brought my own feel to most of them. Each of these is pretty much exactly as I imagined them - though admittedly, I didn't spend a lot of time visualizing the Sashas, you they might reflect outside influences more strongly.

Obviously Cassini-inspired, and maybe taking a bit more creative liberty for the sake of a pretty picture. The rings wouldn't reflect that much light, but I tried to make their structure relatively accurate!

Uranus has a reputation for being relatively boring, so I wanted to speculate a bit about how the system might look near equinox. We know its weather becomes more active and dynamic around this time. The moon Ariel is suspected to have a subsurface ocean, and possibly even plumes ejecting material into space.

For a while I've had this idea of humans vanishing off the earth and megafauna gradually returning. Sauropod cows (probably with lots of bison heritage) were the first concept I played with.
Today a friend showed me an image of a colossal hog, and so naturally I have integrated these into the cow world canon. They are like woolly rhinos. to me
