Since chickpeas contain a good amount of folic acid, it is easy to control blood pressure by eating chickpeas. Besides, chickpeas also help to maintain heart health in girls after puberty. 5. Blood circulation: Another study found that people who ate 1/2 cup of chickpeas, beans, and peas daily had increased blood flow in their leg arteries. Moreover, isoflavones present in chickpeas improve arterial function in people suffering from ischemic stroke. 6. To prevent cancer: Korean researchers have shown in their study that women can protect themselves from the risk of colon cancer and rectal cancer by consuming more folic acid with food. Besides, folic acid reduces the amount of allergies in the blood and reduces the incidence of asthma. So eat chickpeas regularly and stay healthy. 7. Beneficial in diabetes: 100 grams of gram contains: about 17 grams of fat or protein, 64 grams of sugars or carbohydrates and 5 grams of fat or oil. Chickpeas have a low glycemic index of sugars or carbohydrates. So gram sugar is good for diabetic patients. 8. Chickpea removes restlessness: Chickpeas have a low glycemic index, so the feeling of restlessness disappears after entering the body. 9. Chickpea removes burns: These chickpeas contain food called sulfur. Sulfur relieves hot head, burning sensation in soles of hands and feet. 10. Chickpea relieves pain: It also contains sufficient amount of vitamin B. Vitamin 'B' reduces spinal pain, nerve weakness. Chickpeas are highly nutritious. It is a significant source of meat. It contains almost the same amount of non-vegetarian meat or fish. So if there is chickpea in the diet, there is no need for fish meat. Brings smoothness to the skin. Raw gram is very beneficial.  Apart from proteins, carbohydrates and fats, chickpeas also contain various vitamins and mineral salts. Every 100 grams of chickpeas contains about 200 mg of calcium, 10 mg of iron, and 190 micrograms of vitamin A. Also contains vitamins B-1, B-2, phosphorus and magnesium.
