Holy frijoles, it’s been two weeks since I posted here. Not that I’m despairing, though, because I was drawing in all that time. Just not posting. Can’t tell you why.
So here’s what I’ve got. And yes, that is Bernie Sanders up there. I was watching one of his old ‘Bernie Speaks’ programs when I did that. I WILL listen to 30 minutes of that guy talking about municipal issues, apparently.
There is also an Eda up there. I love The Owl House. I don’t know if it was intentional or not, but I choose to believe that her curse is kind of a fantasy metaphor for HIV. Something about the line about how it was manageable with the right precautions made me think that.
Aaaand that is a fusion up there. Two unknown Gems. To be honest, I was thinking of how much I hated Crazy Lace’s outfit in SUF (her skin is all those colors, so you throw that on her? Seriously? Can’t it at least be white so it doesn’t clash with everything else so much?). So I slapped it on someone else (kinda--the gem placements, and thus the outfit, are different). I was bored at work.

I worked on editing and coloring this all day. I need a better workflow.
I doodled these at work the other night between tasks.
1. I may have complicated feelings about Rose, but she is super pretty and gratifying to draw. I have handwriting issues (I believe it’s dyspraxia, but I have not been formally diagnosed) so drawing all the curves that make her correctly is very satisfying.
2. A Rose.
3. My OC Kyle (he has many names, but that’s the one I’ve written with the most). He has bangs for some reason. He also looks tired.
4. I imagine that one of Kyle’s partners has said something silly and he just...can’t deal with it right now.

Some unsaved warm-ups.
A VERY old character that I’ve never even RP’d with, their name is Shyvé (an honestly kind of stupid name that I don’t know how to pronounce anymore) and they are the lead singer of a rock band in Basya, a country in my fictional world that’s been occupying my head for almost 20 years, lol. I....honestly think I love this character. I remember them after all this time?
I don’t know if I’m going to tweak how humans look any more in this game (I have already played around with their sexual dimorphism). But if I do, I’m bringing them along for the ride.

Holy crap, It’s been FIVE DAYS?? Wow.
She is a mousey Princess Peach. Her husband also calls her “Mus” (”mouse”) so if you see a human Gadget Hackwrench in this, so do I.
No, she’s not haughty at all. She’s scared half the time and anxious the other half. She’s just worrying about something.
I’m 95% sure she does not like her full body outfit. The sweater’s way too big, too. But when you live in a car for a few years, you don’t have huge wardrobe.

I worked on this for entirely too long.
I’ll be honest, I was 90-something % ready to give up on this blog. Yes, I draw every day, but it’s not good. I haven’t built up the stamina for that in a less than two-month project. Talking to my best friend made me keep it, though. This is painful, but I can’t give up already. I just have to be more forgiving. I’ve been drawing for almost 50 days straight after experiencing art depression for years and years. Be forgiving, BT.
I....honestly don’t know who this person is. I was listening to this episode of [Paulogia] (which I actually only started doing again a few days ago?) and she was co-hosting so I drew her persona. Her name’s Shannon Q, I believe?
