stop ignoring yourself. fix your posture, get a fresh haircut, drink water, take care of your skin, eat food that gives you energy, declutter your space, take time to rest, workout, do mindful meditation, fix your sleep schedule. when you feel/look good, you do good. invest in yourself, put the effort you deserve.

Ren Faire Garb Update
I haven't updated in like a week, mostly because I haven't done anything in a week. But last night I was up until 5AM and today I have been working since I woke up, and well...
Tada!
It's not finished, I need to make the sleeves and underskirt, and I'm still working on the French Hood, but the bulk of the labor is done and I am so relieved. We're ~1 month out from the first ren faire of the season and I'm starting to feel like maybe I can actually finish this in time!
There are clips around the top because I need to tack down the edge, but that's just cosmetic at this point.
For my first time using a sewing machine and no pattern, I'm pretty pleased.

We can't afford the surgery, so we took him home. We have to wait and see if he passes it or if he shows signs of an obstruction. If he shows signs of an obstruction he will have to have surgery but we have to see if we can find somewhere less expensive because the place we were at today was quoting 12,000.
My dog is going into an endoscopy with the knowledge that if it fails he immediately goes to surgery for foreign body removal.
