Ehsaas means feel. And feeling stands behind the idea for this amazing watch dedicated for the visually impaired.
Nikhil Kapoor, an Indian design student, begun with the concept of Braille reading system and translated it into a personal device that allows to use it to read time. The idea is based on the system of dots. By double-tapping the shield, you activate the mechanism, then read time by sliding the finger.
It's always fascinating to see technology, and design in the service of society.

Annie Leibovitz is a big name in the photography world. By some even considered one of the best photographers in history. While this might be an over statement, since it's definitely more crowded in the line for that trophy, I'd still say she's definitely the top portrait artists of all times.
Even if you've never heard about her, I'm sure you've come across her celebrity shots. And she's worked with literally everyone that came even close to being Hollywood-Famous. She started her career with The Rolling Stone Magazine, and after that she has been mostly associated with Vanity Fair.

It's an Apple's WWDC today, so I could not miss writing about one of the most beautifully designed fitness activity trackers for iOS, Misfit Shine.
The concept they had was to create a product that will be worn not only on the treadmill or during outdoor activities, but a device that will fit any kind of environment, be robust, yet stay elegant and let the user truly blend it's features into his life from the morning on.

Robert Frank is one of my biggest inspirations. Himself an extremely important figure in the history of photography, will be remembered especially for his photography book "The Americans".

He's been shooting a lot of still photography, but what made him great is the street photography documenting the mid-last-century life in USA, London and France. His poetic images are now like windows to the past, full of life. He'd be the champion of Instagram now.

Those beautiful, dramatic images let me believe again that it's neither the gear, nor the powerful software, but a man behind it all, what makes a photo iconic.
A dark, heavy mood, amazing contrast and composition. It's hard to believe that it's all been done with iPhone (and Snapseed from Google/NIK). This is a new project from Julian Calverley, a UK based landscape photographer, considered as one of 200 best AD photographers. The set has been created during his trip to Glen Orchy & Glen Etive in Scotland.
