I am quite frankly disappointed in Quackity Studios for continuing to prioritize running the server over communicating with and compensating their ex and (some) current employees. It's made it so that when I see people talking about what's happening on the server, I can only think of the people who were taken advantage of and abused by the company.

Regarding the lore I think they took the best decision to justify a long absence without putting a definitive end to it. This all stream leaves a strange taste in my mouth but what could they do? can i just say i think it’s fucking slimy how quackity has consistently vaguely painted people speaking out about workplace abuse as ‘people who want the project to fail’ and ‘people leaking information’. i want the qsmp to succeed so fucking badly, which is why the inexcusable shit they’re doing especially to some of the people who have made the project as popular as it is (the egg admins) is so upsetting to me. YOU DO NOT SUCCEED THROUGH THIS BEHAVIOR. IT IS FUCKING DELUDED TO BELIEVE AS SUCH.

Just so people interested here have the info: Sunny's and Empanada's admins are not aware of anything happening in the event happening tonight. So is their eggs are involved in any way, shape or form, they will not be played by them.

Reminder that they never left the project and were never officially let out (or unofficially from what they say). Someone could argue they're put on the side because they're streaming and revealed their identity, but even then, I really wish they wouldn't have the nerves to replace them without telling them a thing, but I don't have much faith... We'll see

Reading some of the ex-workers testimonies again and then Dimitri's (here) I find some awful similarities. After working for the project for months they are offered an "assistant" position (which is supposed to be a paid-position) but first they go through a "trial period" in which they get to do way more work than before but with no pay at all. After some time (which was months for some) and if they are lucky, they pass and even then payment is not guaranteed. In the case of Dimitri though, they were pretty much removed from the trial because nothing was guaranteed...

This is how the project benefited from many people's hard work without having to pay them shit….
