after reading the article it's quite damning. and i'd love to keep the image i have of axl in my head but it's something that i can't, nor should i, ignore. after almost a decade of "supporting" this man to some extent i'm going to have to refrain from mentioning him. i don't want to present myself as someone who supports this behaviour. it makes me sick to my stomach every time i remember that the axl i knew as a naive twelve-year-old kid, is not the person he really is. he'll always have a huge impact on my life and guns n roses will always be a band i adore but i won't associate myself with this anymore.

don't cry alternate lyrics are so much better than the original if i'm honest. like, i'll always love the original but there's something so raw and honest about the alternate.

the line "with no one left to cry to" is enough to make it better for me. the lyrics are just so axl.

breakdown is one of guns n roses best songs. criminally fucking underrated and i wish they'd play it live.
