For our first meeting of the new year Herb Magley, of the Alzheimer's Association will be our guest speaker. He will be speaking about cognitive issues which can be a problem with people that have Multiple Sclerosis.

Like last year we are having a holiday party at Golden Coral. It will be December 2. The party will start at 4:00 pm and last to 6:00 pm. There will also be a gift exchange see below for details.

It's time for the ATOMS annual picnic. Our meeting this month will be at Wiley Post Park. It is located south of the river between South Walker and Robinson.
Hamburgers, buns, and condiments will be provided. Some drinks, chip's and cookies will be available.
Picnic Location: Wiley Post Park.
Date: October 15,2023
Time: 11:00 am to 2:00 pm
Who is invited: All group members, family, friends and caregivers.
The picnic will be at the pavilion and has ADA Compliant restrooms next to the pavilion.

Weather: At this time the forecast is temperatures in the mid 60's and dry. If it should rain the event will go on since the pavilion provides cover.

I received an email and text from Walgreens I'm fine with that. A statement on the email confirms that email and text is not secure.
"Email not encrypted
Please be aware that most standard email is not a secure means of communication and your protected health information that may be contained in our emails to you will not be encrypted. This means that there is risk that your protected health information in the emails could be intercepted and read by, or disclosed to, unauthorized third parties."
For those concerned about privacy Signal is a good choice.
